The undercard was a ****ing disgrace, which doesn't help. I remember in the 90's and early 2000's being absolutely thrilled at the prospect of the undercards, let alone the main event. Now you have one main event and, well, that's about it. Bring back Don King! I think it needs to be noted as well, that many people now just watch for free on naughty sites. :dijono:

I knew that it wouldn't make huge numbers, but keep in mind that the biggest match up in boxing (maybe besides GGG-Canelo) got this numbers.

don't think they broke even at 160k. I think 200k was the break even number.

PPV is a rip-off and should be rejected by the fans...................it's time all boxing fans get together and demand clean boxing for a change, fire the crooked judges, referees, boxing commissions, etc.

I think it was good. Bad for the promoters, bad for PPV, so at the end good for boxing and boxing fans.

PPV in the US is losing money, so it might finally lose its value. That way the bigger fights might end up on free TV where they belong, with maybe some exceptions for highly demanded mega fights.

160k is very good. 60k had even been better.

Puts things into perspective doesn't it. GGG numbers weren't that bad it seems!

Because GGG isn't one of America's last hopes? He's a foreigner, basically. A foreigner who struggles to get fights, too.

Hopefully Roc Nation smarts up and stops paying Ward $5M as if he's worth it. This cat should be getting no more than about $175K per fight, maximum.
