Am I the only one who thinks Arreola is garbage?

You're not the only one... Ive always felt the same way about this dime a dozen guy..

He's a very poor man's Joe Mesi.

 

I wouldn´t say he is garbage. But he has some obvious flaws, experienced and skilled guys like the Klitschkos would take advantage of in easy fashion and would make short work.

I actually like him....what he brings to the table could very well get him a belt....I think he needs to be in better conditioning for stamina.

I'm just ridiculing you. Everybody says they don't think Arreola as an skill so you say everybody hates him and claim he's "skillful", as if the common perception of this plodding out of shape boxer is solely down to personal grievance. If you like him, fine. I just haven't seen anything to make me think he's anything like a world class boxer.

 

Why must there always be haters?

Very few people think Arreola has tons of skills. He is flatfooted, admittedly fat, and crude in most areas. He was less crude coming up, but since he's put on the weight, he has been a little rough in his last few fights.

But he is what he is...and he's a big guy with a decent chin, and above-average power. He also comes to fight in every fight, so I won't knock him.

I've yet to get bored with one of his fights...so what's the problem?

 

exactly. that poster is obviously ******ed. he cites larry holmes and then complains about tyson and lewis' comp?? holmes's comp was worse.

back to the original TS: arreola obviously isn't "garbage" especially in this division. he looks to have skill/defense and conditioning deficiencies, but he does have power and some raw ability imo and if he develops a little more he could be a contender type without being able to beat the klits
