Canelo's stamina is poor as is, and cutting an additional two pounds isn't going to help matters. If Floyd presses the issue once Canelo gasses, I definitely think he can force a stoppage. I don't think it's likely to happen, though, because Floyd is known to play it safe.

floyds ko % going from 130-140 was 70%.. since moving to 147-154 hes had 9 fights with 2 ko's.. it's clear he carries ok power at these weights but KO power.. no. The only way floyd Ko's canelo is he breaks him down mentally and canelo gives up more than anything otherwise it'l just be your basic floyd UD lol.

No I can actually seeing him getting stopped late (11th round or so) idk it seems like Alvarez showed signs of fatigue in his Trout fight and he was fighting in spurts not sure if he was doing his Arthur Abraham impression or what (maybe he was playing possum) add that to the fact that he is still growing and has to go down to 152 is all the ingredients for a possible late stoppage we will know soon enough

 

Name one fighter Floyd has faced that he didnt hurt since Baldomir? He isnt getting stoppagees but guys are getting hurt in there with him. He tends to not go for it when they're hurt. Let Juan and Cotto off the hook.

Canelo will have to be more aggressive in this fight more then any of the past, if he wants to win. Another bad habit canelo has is loading up recklessly when he throws his combinations and with mayweather you better make every shot counts or he will counter you all night. I ruly believe mayweather not coming off a long layoff will get him the stoppage in the late rounds, because canelo gasses, and floyd will be on point this fight.

 

Canelo won't stop trying to win, so if he's in the 11th and10 rounds down swinging for the fences I can see him being caught by a sharp counter
