    No, I think PacDbest may have mentioned a while back that Gomez might upset Cotto. His point was valid as well, but not sure it will come off that way.

    I mean, look at the way gomez rattled gatti...and look at the way a smaller torres rattled cotto and gomez/s punches are much more straighter and harder than torrez or chop chop....two guyz that gave cotto a scare...i want cotto to win, but im feeling like GOMEZ is gonna win the Upset of the year award at the end....but im a cotto guy, im also realistic...

    I think Cotto will win but in a lot closer a fight than people think. Will go twelve rounds and I think Cotto wins by split decision.

    It would. But as PacD said (I don't want to take credit for his work here) Gomez is not a WW. He has been taking punches from MW's and Jr MW's for a while now. He just came back down recently. So Cotto may not have as much of an effect on him as he has on others. Gomez has never been stopped. We'll see.....interesting fight.

    I just can't see it after watching old Ben Tackie had Gomez looking bad in the 2nd half of that fight.

    but only because this has been a huge year of upsets so far

    that and because Gomez is naturally bigger than Cotto.

    Gomez is 1-1-1 in his epic trilogy with Jesse Felicano. He's going to get his ass kicked in this fight. It's just a matter of what round he'll gets stopped in. If he makes it past round 9, I'll consider that a moral victory.

    Very interesting match!

    I think Gomez is capable of an upset but I want Cotto to win coz he has the biggest change to give PBF to finally get an "L"
