I find kinda of strange that everything label Floyd as feather fisted and rules out the possibly of a KO victory against Hatton. So what if Floyd couldn't stop Baldomir or Oscar who were both jr. middles when he fought them. Floyd rocked Oscar on several occasions and Baldomir got one of the best chins in history. Floyd is fighting someone his size and I think he will stop Hatton. :D :D :D

No, I've seen a lot of posters predict a Floyd TKO or KO win. Mainly because of the expected accumulative punishment Hatton will take in this fight. My prediction is a Floyd decision.

It could happen. I won't leave that possibility out.

Mainly because I think as hard as Tszyu hit, he was never able to catch Hatton on the END of his right hands. Hatton would quickly jump in and suffocate Tszyu's power. The ref was also instrumental in that happening.

I think the Collazo fight proved that if you can enjoy some distance from Hatton that he can be hurt as the fight wears on. But Collazo is also bigger than Mayweather and he also comes from a southpaw stance, which leaves a little space when the orthodox Hatton tries to suffocate. Hatton it should be noted has always had trouble with southpaws. He was also dropped by Eamon Magee.

As I've said multiple times this is gonna come down to the ref. We all know Hatton has that lunging punch and tie up style which is reminicant of John Ruiz, only Hatton continues to punch after tied up. The ref may not give him this opportunity and there is no way Hatton can compete with Mayweather at a distance.

If the ref does allow the holding though, expect Mayweather to be in the fight of his life. The jab and grab is no joke and will not exclude the best boxer on the planet. It brings everything back to square 1.

Exactly I could very well see his corner stopping the fight.

He may stop Hatton but he wont knock him out. He doesnt punch hard enough, but I can see the ref stopping the fight as Hatton takes too much punishment.

I agree the ref have a strong influence on the outcome. Each of Hatton's clinching last about 30 secs. (including the ref pull off and reset the action) If the ref threatens to deduct points from Hatton then the chance of the stoppage is very high. Floyd is a very accurate puncher and will captialized on every Hatton's misses and snipping him as he presses forward. If Collazo can rock Hatton Floyd can.

I can't see Floyd winning by a 10 count KO - but a TKO for punishment, cuts, or excessive knock downs Yes!

I agree that Mayweather can hurt Hatton if Collazo could but im not sure if May's hands are the kind that cut people up. He's as likely to hurt his hands as he is to bust somebody open. I think he cut Gatti up but i dont remember anybody else recently. Dont matter, the ref will also stop the fight if Hatton's eye's swell up too much.

I can see a TKO but I can't see Hatton laying down for 10.

The only way I see floyd winning by stoppage is a TKO. He has fairly think skin, and cuts quite easily. And FLoyd's fast jabs dont help any.
