Am I the only one who thinks GGG would beat Canelo at 155 fairly easily?

Yeah, that's definitely a possibility. But I think his team should have pushed for it, really he's 34, how many more chances is goign to get to be a real PPV star?

Yes on paper it looks logical but there's always some agenda as well.

Mate, listen, you call GGG "little G", it's like if I called Stevenson, "Chickenson" and pretend I'm a fan. :rofl

I've called floyd fans fl0mos too, and pacfans pac****s. Does that mean I hate floyd and pac too?

My agenda is to speak my mind, and tell it how I see it, and also try to trigger the little g fans a little.

For this case, I really just WANT to see the fight. Whether it's at 155, 160, or 180, GGG has the power to make this fight happen, so give into the A side terms, just like Floyd did against Oscar when he wore pillows and moved up to 154.

I used to consider you one of the most logical and unbiased fans on here, but lately I've seen you riding GGG HARD, and going at Ward fans etc.

Yeah but I called Floyd fans flom0s too and I'm a Floyd fan (not a "pretend fan" either) it's a bit different.

I really want to see this fight happen too but I doubt it, for one the weight reason wasn't even the main issue given by Canelo, apparently the time restraints is what's the problem and my hunch is that Canelo wants more fights before GGG.

Being half asian myself, I support all asian boxers. I'll keep it real and say I'm not a fan of Kovalev in the sense as a person. But as a boxer, Kovalev has amazing skills, and I like him as a boxer. As for little g, i like him both as a person and a boxer, it's just his fans are literally the wrost fans I've encountered. You can say pac****/*****s hwere bad but both these guys moved up how many weight classes and look at who they fought.

GGG is only getting older, while Canelo hasn't even entered his prime yet. Though it is unfair to Canelo, I want to see this fight before GGG declines, and I want GGG to get shot at being a PPV star. Maybe it's team, but really he should take this fight at Canelo at all costs, unless it's something ridiculous.

And I do have to say, Canelo was put in a rather difficult position as well (because of the previous beltholders) as much as I hate to admit it. Though he should have moved up sooner and stopped with the CW bull****, he literally fought Cotto and was expected to face GGG straight after. Sure he got a voluntary but he still hasn't had a chance to fight real middleweights at the full weight.

I'm not excusing Canelo, I'm just saying that GGG benefits far more in this fight than Canelo. Canelo is the massive underdog yet the CLEAR A side. So GGG should do anything in his power to make this fight happen. GGG fans really should be DEMANDING that GGG takes this fight at 155.

As for Canelo winning the belt after Cotto he should have fought a MW instead of Khan after. Khan is not even a draw, he did 700k viewers against Alexander and doesnt even sell out. Lemieux/Rosado did over 900k. Fighting Khan made no sense at all financially, hell fighting a Lemieux type guy would've meant a bigger cut for Canelo too.

Yep. You definitely know more of Golovkin's weakness and strength than Golovkin himself!

All things being weighed fairly and evenly, I'd say G has better reasons for the fight not happening at 155 than Canelo does/did. The main reason being, Canelo is/was the middle weight champ, which means the fight should be at 160. Of course this has been discussed and argued many times! If it were me and I said this before, I would have met the demands and go down and whoop Canelo on Canelo's terms. I do however understand G's decision not to drop the weight! Sometime one must meet the demands of the A side to get a huge jump in their career. It paid off for Mayweather big time, when he fought Del La Hoya and May doesn't have anywhere near the fan friendly style that G does! G could have been catapulted into a whole new atmosphere had he taken the risk or so called risk in fighting Canelo at 155! the fight may still happen, let's hope it does!

I don't think GGG could make 155 without losing a lot. If he could easily make 155 he would have done it long ago and whooped Canelo.

I am sure Canelo is beating on Oscars door right now to make this right and at any weight from 154-160 GGG beats him.

There is no more step aside cash or belts for GGG so he should take the fight at a 70/30 split and gain even more fans by sparking this kid.

He had 12 months of chances. He chose to fight light welterweights instead of middleweights. That's on him. He's a greedy prima donna who wants everyone to dance to his tune and then thank him for it.

I was kind of hoping they'd agree on 157.
