you're not the only one. don't know how ortiz became this great threat since the berto fight, as i remember fight night straight after his win no-one was giving him a chance against pac or mayweather with the flaws he showed.
Dude I'm a boxing fan, the bottom line is this is a good fight. You can spin it how you want, but Ortiz is in his physical prime, is the WBC WW champion, became champion by beating a champion, and appears mentally and physically ready to take his game to another level. Can he do it...who the **** knows, that's why you watch the fights. I know this, as I said before, this is a far better fight than Pac-Jmm (as it stands today). Manny who's been active wouldn't fight Berto, and damn sure didn't want any of Ortiz, he settled for old broke down has beens, that's his fault. I like watching Manny, I mean that sincerely, but God Damn enough with the bull**** take some real ****ing fights already. I'll buy this fight because I'm anxious to see how it unfolds, I don't dismiss Ortiz, and I think it's a mistake for anyone to simply dismiss the dude as a non factor.
You're ignorance is funny.. you actually think Pacquiao has anything to worry about with Berto or Ortiz.. :rofl Yea Pac really didn't want to face those guys....
Comparing him to Ponce de Leon is just plain idiotic... and I wouldn't call him 'limited' as far as pure talent goes because he clearly has it... what he doesn't do is fight smart. So if anything is 'limited' it's his overall skills as a boxer.
he's limited but he's a lot better than anything pac has fought lately so i give the edge to floyd in the level of opposition :hat
