Newsflash...Pac doesn't really KO anybody anymore, I mean outside of Hatton dude hasn't had a KO since...(I'm too lazy to look it up), either way the point is that you are saying Manny KO's a legitimate WW champion even though he couldn't knock out guys that were shot and past their primes in Mosley, Tony (who Shane KO'd), Clottey, ODLH, Cotto, etc etc. I don't dismiss Manny, he's a great fighter, but this mythical KO power is obviously not reality. I mean get a ****ing grip dude.

 

This isn't accurate, what you're doing is pissing on the fight because you're butthurt that it's CLEARLY a better fight than the ones taken by your idol. This is a good ****ing fight, bottom line, if Pac had taken it I would say the exact same thing.

Margarito would lose to Ortiz. He's shown hes nothing special since not having the wraps.

Pacquiao is no Tyson when it comes to power these days, but he managed to hurt Cotto, Margarito who had 15 + lbs on him, and had Mosley running for the hills.

Considering how much smaller he was than these guys/how much weight he moved up, i find that amazing.

 

and compared to these guys, ortiz has a somewhat shaky chin.

 

Except that margarito doesn't have better power. Lacks defense and stamina means nothing when your punches have no power and you have no defense

 

ANYONE with talent and some skills can be a TITLE holder these days. but the sign of a TRUE champion is consistancey and longevity. Of course WHO your opposition is a big part of that as well while you are defending your crown.

Ortiz has PROMISE and a lot of POTENTIAL! But he doesn't have nearly enough experience nor the CONSISTANCY for ANYONE to gauge just how good Ortiz is at the moment.

Look at Shane.....he was near retirement after his loss to Wink and close fights with Mayorga and Collazo but have an amazing performance against Marg that put him in line to fight Floyd.

We all saw Shane was NOT consistant although he had LONGEVITY in the sport. Ortiz doesn't have consistancy as a CHAMPION nor LONGEVITY as a pro to really be touted as someone who will upset Floyd.
