It doesn't matter if he is. His Chin has been Shattered and Mayweather is the bigger guy and is going to land lead right hands all night and knock the Glass Jawed Pacquiao out I'm the later rounds.
So Roach is trying to get under Mayweather's skin by insinuating that Pacquiao is having issues in camp?
What I find weird is, Roach has the camp closed to almost everyone. He's been on record saying he doesn't want his game plan to get out. I assume Roach pretty much knows what information is being disseminated to the public when it comes to the training camp so he is fully aware that the leg cramp issues and him getting upset at Manny during sparring etc would be get out. You would think if Manny had a weakness, Roach would do his best to hide it so Floyd doesn't take advantage of it so why would he let it get out? The only thing I can think of is, he's trying to put Floyds camp in a false sense of security and maybe hoping they try to take advantage of Manny's "weaknesses". I forgot who Manny was gonna fight back then, but there was one training camp where he was really distracted because he had marital problems and really couldn't focus but that never came out, it was only after the fight did it go public. If Roach wanted to keep things from the public, he could.
I hope so. He said today that Pacquiao is struggling with Floyds style...like why would he say that to the media.
He was trying to get under his skin with the "sparring partners are being bought off" comment and other comments such as "Judah did indeed KO Mayweather"...etc. As far as the "Pacquiao is doomed and can't run" rumors, they're simply there to deceive and play mind games.
To clearly make it further look like Pacquiao's chances are slim. The media will eat that up and mention it to Mayweather and his people. As long as the message is sent like it's expected to, Roach is happy.
Ok, and my point was that I believe it's pointless to try to play mind games and deceive Mayweather. It's Freddy's show though. He can put out whatever he wants.
Either side can say what they want. All I hope is that the losing side doesn't use it as an excuse should they lose. Should PAC lose, I don't wanna hear nothing about cramps and back pain or whatever. Both sides better give credit where it's due. After May 2, the bad blood needs to end.
