I'm not hovering over Joshua's faults. I think his gas tank is a question mark and he made Parker look on his level. Povetkin certainly hasn't faced anyone near the level of a Joshua since the loss to Klitschko. As far as Povetkin, sure he's old now and has the PED pop but the dudes resume since becoming a pro in 2005 is almost certainly the third best among all heavyweights only to the Klitschkos. That point is often understated. I respect Povetkin and think he has a real chance for a win here, although like I said not picking him to do so.

I see Povetkin pulling a Corrie Sanders! I'm talking about what Corrie Sanders did to Wladimir ...

When did I call Povetkin a midget? Povetkin was dwarfed by Klitschko, who is only sligthly taller than Joshua. The size difference will be significant, as it was between Joshua and Parker. And Parker is taller than Povetkin btw.

the only way Pov upsets Joshua is if he pinches his SWEEEETS at the press conference.

Povetkin always looks like hes trying to read the bottom line on an eye test.

Ive said for a while now, Belts aside this is number 1 and number 2 in the division. I am a Joshua fan but i see the weaknesses and Povetkin, now Wlads retired, is the most technically skilled fighter in the division. I do favour Joshua, hes not Wlad but hes still good and will know exactly what he needs to do to nulify the Russian. But he can be knocked out and it seems to me that those wide shots thrown to come up from low down seem to go through a blind spot, he just doesnt see them coming. They are one of Povetkins trademark shots. Also one of Wilders.

But i do think Joshua should keep Povetkin mostly under control and those chances to land clean are guna be few and far between. Only takes one though.

He needed the juice to offset the damage Teddy Atlas did to him.

He was turning into the Benjamin Button of heavyweights under Teddy's "coaching".

I have it about the same. I rate Pov's skills far ahead of Joshua's but the age and size factors are going to be a problem.

I really hope AJ overlooks Povetkin like how half this forum is overlooking him. If Joshua takes him lightly then I change my prediction of AJ on points to Povetkin by KO.

Can't see it, Povetkin can't keep up a pace to wear AJ out. He'll fall behind and try to survive till the end

I’m just gonna point out that Wilder has beaten two top five contenders and Povetkin only beat two, one over a decade ago.
