Am I the only one who thinks they should just legalize PEDs ?

Problem is that the more money you have the better PEDs you have access to.

It would never be a fair playing field.

People like Canelo aren't buying creatine from Amazon. They're buying the stuff that works immediately and cycles out of your system within hours.

I agree but if they did, whats the next status quo when it comes to getting the edge over your opponent? An artificial limb made of steel that can't be detected by the technology of the time?

Ronnie Coleman is an example of what happens when you have unchecked peds use. Dude can’t really walk anymore.

F*ck that! Most boxers don't make the type of money the 'stars' make. And the stars are the ones who can afford the best. Just give them harsh AF penaties for this. Make the repercussions so severe they'll see the risk as something actually, risky.

First question is where do you draw the line? What about stuff that can numb pains? HGH?

Why not just make a whole new org that allows everything under the sun and see how popular it becomes. It wouldn't in my opinion.

I think the boxers should be the people to push to legalize it. Not some committee of guys that never even had a fight in kindergarten. I don't think I ever heard a fighter asked if PED's should be legal in boxing. Be interesting to see their view on it.

I agree but we are at a point where every fighter is doubted, even the clean ones.

Yeah, you are right mate. Everybody is now a suspect. It's a shame because it's always a few bad apples that spoil the barrel. And anybody who performs exceptionally well is going to be under suspicion. But there's nothing that can be really done about human suspicion.

Regardless though, clean athletes should be protected as much as possible.

I don't think PEDs should.be legal in boxing. I like the sport too much so I'd rather the fighters be natural to tell who truly is the best. I believe some people have a higher response to PEDs than others so it's not a leveled playing field.

Maybe legal but still limited. I remember Vitor Belfort pissed hot and his T-level was like 2700 which is phucking insane so none of that.

One of the worst ideas I’ve heard in a while. If commissions are gonna take any serious action on PED’s (they’re not) it should be more frequent and honest testing to ban them altogether. The corruption is too deep for this to actually happen, but letting everyone juice through the roof might just skyrocket the already high number of deaths in boxing.
