Am I the only one who wants to see Calzaghe-Hopkins II?

Well, if anyone can change tactics in order to try something different, it's Hopkins. He may fall just short again, but given they are both clearly top P4P material, I'd still love to see it.

Yeah, you're right. Calzaghe is pretty detestable, similar to Hamed.

  6. Why:huh it ain't gonna happen, i seriously doubt Hops would be willing to go Wembley:-( i think Joe is done anyways he has not a damn thing left to prove..
I would rather see Hops-Dawson. i see Dawson winning that one..

I would personally want to watch a different fight rather than a rematch between those two. Have you all forgotten the first fight? Bhop just played to ruin Joe's fight and did very little fighting himself, the later part of the fight was all Joe's workrate against a guy who continually held and used his head as a third punch. Was less than spectacular.

If Bhop came to fight then yeah it would be interesting, but I can't see him changing his style.

  8. No ****ing rematch needed, Cali clearly won the 1st fight and to tell you the truth the match kinda sucked:-( the fight last night was way better, but i don't see people on here calling for a rematch of last night:huh WTF??

Calzaghe should retire. it will be interesting to see his decision. this guy really likes fighting. i think he will continue. hopkins will lose the second time around. calzaghe is all wrong for bhop. styles make fghts. pavlik doesnt equate to a different outcome in a rematch.

Hopkins cannot afford to clinch as much. I think he'd try something different, at least for a little while. Those clinches wore him down, and whenever they weren't clinching, Joe was punching.

He may fall short again, but I suspect it would be competitive, and yeah, that fight certainly was not appealing to the casual fan, and maybe even some die-hards, but I liked watching the tactical chess match and the versatility of both.

I would like to see it again. It was competitive, and they are still two of the best boxers in the sport.

How the hell was last night's fight better? Calzaghe won eleven rounds!

Jones wasn't the LEAST bit competitive.

  12. MORE ACTION! the 1st 4 rounds last night there was more fighting than the full 12 rounds of Hops -cali, besides Hops fought a ****ing ugly fight against CALI, he deserves a rematch for that ****!!??

I see b hop taking another strategy
calzhage may just be a bit overconfident and hop might be able to play on that

Calzaghe is a phenomenon. not overrated. everybody is going to ko him but noone does. he would beat Dawson, end of story. hopkins should retire also. no need for a rematch, nothing to prover or gain for Calzaghe. his style beats other styles. that pisses people off but is a fact. i would advise him to go home and enjoy the fruits of his labor. he showed Jones and others respect. when bhop was in his face mouthing off about never letting a white boy, and this is some dumb racist bull ****, beat him, calzaghe merely said "but if you fight me you will lose." he will also lose in a rematch. move on.
