face it Calzghe is better then hopkins and Pavlik , and just because Hopkins looked impressive vs Pavlik that doesnt justify a rematch vs Calzaghe . it was boring the first time and it aint gonna get much better the second time , so no i dont wanna see them go at it again

Sorry Rummy, I don't want to see a second match between these two I think it would be a waste of time. If Hopkins had somehow figured out a way to take out JC or negate his hellish workrate, it wouldn't matter because the fight would take place in Wales. Find me three judges that wouldn't rob Hopkins of a victory in JC's final fight in Wales, then I think it would get interesting. As it stands though, I don't think there is any unfinished business here, Hopkins clearly lost the first time.

This fight makes so much sense, the first fight screamed for a rematch (because of the outcome, not the action), really it could have gone either way, I had Hopkins winning by 1 point. Now Hopkins seems rejuvenated and both scored big wins recently, it's the fight to be made (and why not in Cardiff), generate a lot of money, and it would be good for boxing in general. Honestly I don't get why many Calzaghe fans don't want this rematch to happen, Hopkins and Calzaghe are the men at LHW out there, they're so confident that Calzaghe would beat him clearly, and they would have the opportunity to watch the fight live in Cardiff.

Dawson is (still) an inferior fighter to Hopkins, sure he's talented but all he did was get a gift decision against old Glen Johnson, beat a faded Tarver (who Hopkins schooled years ago) and Thomasz Adamek. He's good but not really proven yet.

    Yes.

I think Hopkins is hellbent on exacting a revenge against the only white boy who beat him, and that alone is a motivation for him.

Would still be an interesting bout.

Honestly, i'll lose some respect for Calzaghe if he does'nt rematch Hopkins.

    This fight NEEDS to happen!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't SD Bernard Hopkins in a controverisal fight and not give him a rematch. Especially after the way he just beat a prime, undefeated, undisputed world champion and banger like Kelly Pavlik.

In fact it's straight up BS if he does'nt give hopkins the rematch he deserves.

I don't think it will happen though because Calzaghe want's no part of Hopkins after the result of their first fight and the pavlik fight.

I'm a Hopkins fan and no I don't really want to see this fight again. The first one wasn't all that great.
