Am I the only one who wasn't completely disappointed?

Kimbo is pretty tough it turms out. That were good action fights - better than most MMA cards I have seen despite an early stoppage on a few.

 

No crime there they always break them up to avoid booing when there is crap action like then. Kimbo won fair and square. Ref should have let Kimbo finish it with another punch however. Kimbo had decent MMA defense for being pretty new to this stuff.

 

All zero of them.

 

Here's the thing.... I've watched the UFC for years; the company that sets the standard for MMA in this country and the world over. I've come to expect a certain caliber of card and production from what I see. What Elite and CBS gave me, was a poorly run show with a **** main event. Two minutes of fighting in the first hour and a half of the broadcast.... ****ing pathetic. If it had been PPV, the riotous actions of people demanding their money back would pop on the Richter Scale.

 

I wasn't completely disappointed. However, the entrances were terribly cheesy, a few of the fights were stopped too quickly because CBS was afraid of showing anything "too graphic", too many commercials, Frank Shamrock giving us the basics of MMA was ridiculous and the commentating sucked balls. I also wasn't too impressed with the main card. Thomson shouldn't have been able to even enter the ring without doing something with that disgusting ear. Before the fight even started I knew it would be a target. I'm not completely sold on Kimbo either.

I did enjoy seeing Phil "New York Jack ASS" Baroni get his ass handed to him. He's 10-10-0 :rofl. The ladies fight was good and the Smith/Lawler fight was pretty decent as well. Overall I'd give it a C-.
