Am I the only one who's looking forward to GGG - Vanes?

    All of you all saying GGG is slipping quickly, this is the perfect fight to see it, last 3 GGG fights were against top class opposition, Vanes is a good fighter but he has been beat 3 times although never convincingly.
    It will be a good test to see how he fares against Vanes compared with charlo, Andrade etc.

    I'm looking forward to see Golovkin fight again, instead of being very inactive due to Alvarez/GBP.
    But the fight itself doesn't really excite me. It's a lose/lose for GGG because he has to knock him out (what noone ever did), and when he does, then he was fighting an inactive LMW bum who couldn't even beat Lara over 2 bouts.

    I'm looking forward to seeing GGG back in the ring, but I'm not especially excited about the match itself.

    A fight is a fight.. Speaking for most hardcore fans we always get excited for a boxing match.. Doesnt matter.. Im always down for boxing fights. Even if the fight is a joke since I wont have to pay for it Ill be watching.. Eating some wings and having some cold beer

    Not at all, even if you don't hold the opinion Vanes was robbed against Jermello (who is supposedly the hottest thing since sliced bread and had 7lbs on Vanes) and the slickest fighter to ever lace up a pair of gloves Lara, fact is they only proved to be 0.1% better than him so he's, at worst, the same level as they are. Vanes biggest weakness is he doesn't let his hands go enough - but despite that he still managed to beat them IMO. That won't be the case in this fight as all that pent up frustration that built up during his enforced absence from the sport will actually work to his advantage and I strongly suspect he'll be throwing more leather than we've ever seen him do before and there will be even more power behind his shots too now that he's up at MW and not having to kill himself making 154.

    Meaningless fight but one that Golovkin needs right now. Only thing i cant stand is how Vanes is being hyped up as this serious threat and Sanchez even called him elite fighter.

    GGG, a stone cold killer, against a LMW coming off a loss and a 2 year layoff. My interpretation is somewhat different to yours.

    Golovkins bum fights have gotten so bad , they're not even on TV anymore.. :cbiggrin:

    I can't watch the fight even if i wanted to :cbiggrin2:
