am i the only one who's not impressed by bellew

I've gone to unimpressed with him (due to his draw/win/loss vs Cleverly - however you saw the fight) and I don't rate Cleverly at all.

To pretty impressed with his stoppage over Miranda, and pretty patient display of boxing tonight after he got the cut. He probably would have got him out of there had he not.

He's hardly perfect, but he's got a lot of heart, is actually pretty decent technically when he wants to be, good power, chin, and is generally an exciting fighter to watch.

In a poor LHW division he can enjoy quite a lot of success as a contender and eventually a gatekeeper. He'll hold a world title at some point.

He is very limited, as I'm sure you can see.

 

I think Bellew is a boxer with a good workrate and has snap in his punches.His power of punch won`t truly be really known until he reaches his first world title fight.But he looks good atm.

 

I agree, i feel that Bellew dissapointed and is not a world level champion, might be a contender.

 

all those missing wild shots from the first half of the fight took their toll on Bellew, if Chilemba had been more active he would of won easily, Chilemba is a nightmare for any top LHW

Bellew is a basic fighter. Plain and simple. If he had any boxing guile to go with this aggressiveness he'd actually be decent. But he throws the same shots in round one as he does in round twelve. Anyone with a brain would pick this guy apart. Essentially he's Enzo with worse power and a better chin.

 

Bellew hanging over the ropes shouting I won dat I won dat....... Mmmmmmmm no you didn't pal!! Never thought I'd drift off to sleep during a fight. Zzzzz

 

He's crap, doesn't have the talent I thought watching his last 3 fights! Been poor

 

now, unimpreesed. his character is ****. he is one dimensional and as far as power, one word, overrated.

 

He talks like he's mayweather yet he's nowhere near as good. Needs a reality check because he's average at best.

 

No i was really dissapointed in him tonight he really faded in the second half of the fight he looked an ordinarey fighter . Dawson schools him if he gets the title shot

 

bellew vs chimbella exact same fight as cleverly vs karpency. bellew has no room to talk bad about clev or karpency. very poor title elem. fight. seen better sparing matches.
