It is based upon Chisora taking too many beatings & being passed his best he has also looked awful in his comeback fights since Fury burst him, I am obviously talking about current Chisora & not the Chisora who fought Helenius & Vitali. Nonsense? Rocked & staggered by Gerber & Pala a year after Haye knocked him out, Vitali couldn't even hurt Chisora at his peak, but your telling me his chin hasn't declined? Ok mate!
The fact that Dillian Whyte stopped Nascimento in the 2nd round & (current) Chisora went the full 10 rounds with a much fatter & out of shape Nascimento just months later would be a good indication that Whyte has more power than Chisora, why do people think Chisora is a big puncher, he's a pressure fighter with average power.
good post. some people get caught up in the hype whereas others are too pessimistic. right now we don't know if whyte is even high level domestic class/decent european class let alone a chisora level fighter. in his fights prior to this he looked a bit shy te to be frank.
Chisora is a better fighter than Whyte, but imo has less power, it was Whytes power, aggression & size that troubled Joshua, nothing else, Chisora is a short heavyweight with average power & I don't think he will trouble Joshua as much as Whyte did, styles make fights.
Whyte has awful technique and looked very s****py as did AJ at times He is just a very strong very big heavyweight with a half decent chin. He gassed after 3 rounds and threw only a handful of decent punches. The fact AJ was badly wobbled from a terrible punch screams he's a KO waiting to happen there is no getting around that. OK the guy looks like Dwayne Johnson with a pair of boxing gloves on and is a good finisher...but he carries his hands too low, his head movement and defence is poor, he is too top heavy and lacks balance, and was blowing out of his ass after 3 rounds. The whyte fight was a step up but only a baby step. Whyte is poor and yet still nearly stopped him in the second.
Wilder would have been out of there in the first round as he would never have taken the punishment Whyte did. Yep Joshua was given a reality check about thinking boxing was easy. Whyte hits pretty hard and Joshua was lucky it wasn't someone good in there are he most likely would have been ktfo. It will most likely make him allot better going forward.. People get a bit carried away over him but he needs to get some experience.
