Am I the only person here who thinks Mayweather beat Castillo in their first fight?

I always scored it for Castillo but it was a close as hell fight against two hall of famers. Wouldn't argue either winning to be honest.

I had mayweather winning the fight, but can see why people had castillo winning. The fight was close. But an injured mayweather pulled it out and showed who was the better fighter in the rematch.

Most I can give Castillo is a draw.

It is either a draw, or Mayweather by a round for me.

I can't remember my exact score but I had Money May by a comfortable margin. Putting someone on the ropes and banging away at the arms and gloves doesn't win rounds when the guy on the ropes is timing excellent counters in the midst of those flurries.

lol there were no pac fans on this site when this was a topic of discussion almost everyday . you replace " pac fans " with latinos and overall floyd haters in this sentence and you are making much more sense and regain some credibility. after this fight took place and for many years after , this has been a hot topic for debate. im a little shocked to still see a topic on this today!

i thought the fight could have been a draw since castillo was the champ? but i gave it 7 rounds to 5 mayweather

When guys bang on Floyd Cotto,Ortiz etc.. and are hitting arms the crowd and audience,as well as analyst take that as scoring points.

If you don't think it was a Robbery explain why the scorecards showed Jr winning this fight by a wider margin than the second fight? Jr Clearly won the second fight but lost this one. Some would say the fix was in!

Floyd won 8 rounds clearly. Compubox was way off on this fight. In some rounds they show Castillo landing more punches than I saw him throw. They also didn't give Floyd credit for a lot of shots. I thought they switched punch stats one round. Floyd took most of the early rounds. Castillo did have success bullying Floyd and keeping the fight close, but his most effective punch was a rabbit punch while holding.

The best part of the fight is the 11th round after Roger tells Floyd to stop moving and sit on his punches. That round went to Floyd. He did some clean work in the pocket, landing sharp punches and blocking alot of Castillo's. Anyone who gives that round to Castillo DKSAB!

The only reason this fight is discussed so often is Floyd didn't dominate it the way he usually does. The result of most of his fights is not in doubt after 4-6 rounds. Floyd's ring generalship and overall control of the fight was not what we are used to seeing. I attribute some of that to the hurt rotator cuff and some to Castillo's style and toughness.

Why do people keep subscribing to this nonsense? You do not give close rounds to the guy who happens to be the champ.
