Am I the only person here who thinks Mayweather beat Castillo in their first fight?

i always found the may/castillo confusion funny the last time i saw both fighters back to back i was inline with the judges and felt castillo 2 was a closer fight than the first 116-111 may/cas 1 115-113 may/cas 2 on my card

 

It was a tough fight for Floyd. Floyd won the first 6 rounds and 2 of the last 6 rounds. It was Floyd toughest fight but he still pulled through and won a clear decision. Didn't say it was easy but clear.

I scored it for Castillo, but it was a close ugly fight. Floyd won clearly in the rematch. Didn't "dominate", but he came out the clear winner.

 

Close fight, can go either way.

 

I had it 114-112 for Mayweather

 

Floyd took 7 out of 12 rounds.

Won the first 5 very very easy.

I completely agree with your analysis. The first fight was a clear but tough fight for floyd, the second one I tended to give Castillo's rounds on agression because floyd was moving too much. I always felt the second was closer than the first.

 

I wouldn't say it was a bad robbery but I scored it for Castillo like the majority of people(at the time).Mayweather was impressive in the rematch though. I'll re watch it I guess and and make another assessment, seems like a lot of you guys think he did enough. I may score it different now.

 

I think a draw for this fight is still being nice. Floyd won by 2 rounds.

 

I feel this fight is the same league as Pac-Bradley fight.

8-4 round difference and the winner is clear but went to the wrong guy.

This is a good fight for showing how shitty compubox and punch stat are. Castillio was given cridit for punches tat landed on Mayweather's back or completley missed.
Also your an idiot if you use compubox or punchstat to score a fight.
