I'm not sold on Fury. I think Joshua, Haye and Wilder all KO him. As bad as Wlad was, you can not give Tyson anything but credit. He dethroned him so he rightfully the champ. Just think an athletic ambitious puncher will beat him.
I give Wlad a good chance in the rematch. I think he has the ability to beat Fury, he is quick, powerful, accurate, smart and experienced. I also get the feeling that Wlad would just retire if he wasn't going to try something different in the rematch. 50/50 type fight.
There is absolutely no reason that this rematch has taken this long to be finalised.I truly believe the delay is on Wlad's part as to whether or not he wants to continue his career or retire.I think he is just plain tired of the grind of training and he has accomplished more than he could ever expect-he is filthy rich and has a young family-who needs it anymore?
I don't think Fury pushed it in their last fight. Fury is a lot more sensible nowadays, but if he did take a chance... I'd fancy him to KO Wlad
Big Abdul confirmed that this fight is 95% certain to take place at Wembley Stadium. Few minor details left to be worked out.
I agree totally, apart from the last part. Fury wins again if he stays mobile behind the jab and doesn't plant his feet, ie: fight exactly the same way as in the first fight. Going for a KO makes Fury vulnerable to being knocked out himself.
Or.... He's delaying it in the hope Fury, without a fight date on the horizon, will get fat and out-of-shape. Also Wlad needs as much time as possible to find a game plan to beat Tyson. Jab and grab didn't come close to working in the first fight and he's used those tactics for 11 years. He needs a fresh approach and the more time he has to bed those in, the better.
