Plants garbage ... can't even stop old versions of truax or uzcategui.. What's he done? Beat a 40 year old Direll brother? Got smashed by a midget? Boxing is pure shite right now.. Benavidez looks like a crack den extra in Carlito's way & Plant probably has Vanilla Ice on repeat in his beats headphones.. SMW is a wasteland & Benavidez looks like a damn CW anyway.. shite.. thank fk for LHW

David clearly has great power, but his boxing skills are limited. Canelo will eat him up.

Definitely not, Plant was schooling him for half of the fight and Benavidez only began to land when Plant started to tire. Definitely not an impressive performance.

He is good. I reckon he would stop Charlo easily, Charlo would probably quit on his stool 5 rounds in. Canelo beats him though and I don't think it would be that close.

Yes, I do. Morrell is just as skilled as plant but he has a better jab, is more consistent, has devastating power, can fight on the inside and out, and his defense is highly underrated.

This whole era may be. Think how highly Crawford and Spence are rated but you have guys like Meldrick Taylor and Ike Quartey who were considered the "Shawn Porters" of their era but would be top 5 P4P in today's boxing game.

You know something, good point. It's the same point that Palulie made when discussing Ennis vs Hukhadzhian. He basically stated that Ennis is just tired of fighting these Journeyman-type guys. He's ready to fight the best of the best in his division and sometimes you can have an off night due to a lack of enthusiasm. I think Benavidez has potential to be a great fighter. He just has to beat likes of Charlo, Canelo, Andrade, and Morrell to prove it.

he is not losing to charlo, but Clen lands at will and stops him. All that talk about him taking on guys at 175 is a joke . Beterbiev smashes him, Bivol makes him look stupid and Smith may murder him. He is too stationary and too easy to hit.

A fact. Crawford and Spence are live in any era but theyre middle of the pack in most good eras.

Danny Garcia, Keith, and Porter and journeyman in a good era

Benavidez best skill is cutting weight, seriously. Dude literally looks like he walks around at 200+. A sharp shooter who can counter with POWER is a tall task for Benavidez. Plant counters 1 punch at a time that look like theyre designed to score more than harm. That's why Canelo and Benavidez walked through everything he threw.

If he starts that slow against Canelo its a sure fire loss.

Depends how high you rate him, I haven't seen anyone say he is a P4P level or an incredibly gifted fighter.

I think he's rated at the right spot at the moment, He answered some questions after beating Plant, and showed he belongs among the best at 168

Morrell avoided fighting him after first agreeing too, hope he changes his mind, should be a good one.

I like his style . Fun to watch but at the top of the game? I dont know. Charlo is not a Super midlle right? I dont know he is calling a fighter up? Never a good sign , imo. Fight the guys in YOUR division. Other fighters come up when THEY COME up. Not sure he can beat Charlo anyway. Those straight power rights will find it;s home early , I think.

He's very fun to watch and that is what we need in this sport. I do not think he is overrated at this moment.
