If another fight with Manny should happen Cotto should stand firm this time around and say,"Hey! if you want MY title, then the fight is at 154 lbs"...The End.

I actully agree with that. IF, cotto takes that stance and sticks with it. On the flip side if he wants redemtion and PAC won't agree to the 154 weight the Cotto has got to make a choice. B/c PAC along with Floyd are the ones calling shots. I'd like the fight at any weight with Steward in charge of Miguels camp.

It would build his legacy but not really.

Cotto while he was winning against Foreman, wasn't spectacular until Foreman was stationary, and even then..

I dont think it would add much to Pac's legacy for beating the crap again out of a guy he just beat the crap out of just at a higher weight.

Actually Foreman did better AFTER the injury where he was forced to trade in order to survive. He was landing more of his offense when he went toe to toe than when he was trying to use his speed, height and jab to control the fight...which didn't work. Miguel was OUT BOXING the Boxer in Yuri. I was surprised the jab was better for Cotto than Yuri before he got hurt.

I agree that beating the crap out of a guy he already beat at a lower weight class won't be his GREATEST achievement but it would help his legacy that is already hard to build upon even more. Getting anther title in anther weight class or facing Floyd are the only legacy building fights he can go for . Anythign else is pretty much a step backwards.

How i see it,there is no other way.A rematch with Pacquiao is very risky,Cotto can very well lose.

At this point,Cotto cant realy afford another loss any time soon.IMO even though Cotto would have a better chance against Pac with Steward in his corner, there is a good chance he still loses to Pacquiao.

Cotto seemed to move up for a reason...He's more comfortable training to make 154lbs,so it would be wise not to give Manny any kind of comfort zone or advantage for the rematch.

It is Cotto with the belt at Jr middleweight so he should stand firm if Manny is looking to make history with an 8th world title in as many divisions.

It would be a waste of Pac's time, IMO.
Been there done that, Let's get a new opponent.
(He already did the Rematch route & as much as I like those fights, They held him back)

Not yet, let Cotto get back into the groove of things and let's see how he performs.

Pacman has much bigger fishes to fry. He dont have time for small timers. It's floyd mayweather or Margarito

Agreed! But it's up to Cotto to stick to his guns. Manny has the leverage to dictate MOST of the fight particulars but regarding the weight he can't dictate that if Cotto doesn't allow him.

Cotto loses again by KO. At this point, I think Cotto's chin is cracked, any any big punches puts him down. He an still box with the best of them though. I think Cotto beats just about anyone who isn't a big puncher at 147 and 154 (not including Mayweather). Manny is a big puncher.
