Yo lepin make life easier for us and list out all the guys Whyte loses to so I can roast you later on.

Meanwhile Ill check your previous predictions on Whyte, they were probably failures too.

Apart from the obvious tribalism being expressed by both ends of the spectrum, Usyk is a supremely talented cruiser who has yet to test the professional waters of the HW division. I think the guy can make an immediate impact in the division; still, it would be foolish to think he couldn’t end up with an Eddie Chambers/David Haye type career at the weight.

I personally find he has more upside when compared to the aforementioned. Let’s just say anyone crowning Usyk as apex Is grossly premature and those denying is ability to lead the pack are showing their subjectiveness.

Watch it, the Eastern Euro, jock straps will attack you if you don't get down on your knees, mouth wide open to gargle like they do.

Usyk is the goods. I'll let his fists do the talking at heavyweight though.

I think you're just a bit of a wrongun in general and you sure are glugging down that Bum Squad Wilder KOOL AIDS like there's no tomorrow.

    Usyk

    WBC cruiserweight champion
    WBA cruiserweight champion
    IBF cruiserweight champion
    WBO cruiserweight champion

Unified the cruiserweight division in just 15 fights

    Ring Magazine champion
Ranked #5 P4P by The Ring Magazine
Winner of the Muhammad Ali trophy
Olympic gold medalist (would've been a 2 x gold medalist IMO had he not been robbed in Beijing), World Amateur gold & bronze medalist, European gold & bronze medalist

In just 16 fights Usyk has already beaten 5 world champions, 3 of whom were current world champions

To add a little perspective to that, Terence ''Bud'' Crawford has only beaten 7 in 35 fights and he has only fought outside the sanctuary of his homeland once and IIRC your boy Bum Squad has only beaten 2 world champions in 41 fights and one of them was shot to bits and was 2-4 in their last 6 (3 of those loses coming by way of stoppage) and coming off back-to-back stoppage defeats. Not to mention they were C level when they were healthy and prime - if a shot 40 y/o Ray Austin can outbox you for the vast majority of the fight and your only claim to fame is beating a faded Chris Arreola who lost to blown up LHW in Adamek when he was in his prime then it's safe to say you aren't up to much.

Bum Squad has only fought outside the US 3 times (2 meaningless fights against complete scrubs and a 40 y/o past it Audley Harrison who was such a timid Tim he would die of fright playing Fight Night as soon as his opponent threw something back at him) but had he fought the 40% drug ravaged suicidal inactive shell of Fury anywhere outside of the US his unbeaten record would be no more and his WBC strap would be adorning Fury's trophy cabinet in his deluxe caravan, let alone had he dared fight Fury in his backyard which he's on record saying he would definitely do because he's a ''real world champion'' and real world champions should have no problem taking to the road. However, when duty called after Fury had already fought him on his turf and was robbed blind, Bum Squad morphed into a half man, half hybrid (female dog/chicken) and bolted back into the darkest corner of the chicken coop.

    Usyk Beat

WBA and IBF champ Gassiev (26-0) in Russia
Beat WBC champ Briedis (23-0) in Latvia
Beat WBO champ Glowacki (26-0) in Poland
Beat former long reigning WBO champ Huck (40-4-1) in Germany
Beat former WBC champ Bellew (30-2-1) in the UK
Beat the streaking Michael Hunter (12-0) in the US
Beat Mchunu (17-2) on neutral soil

All of those guys are serious bangers sans the super slick and awkward Mchunu who can crack a little bit himself when he wants to and Gassive and Briedis are 2 of the biggest punchers in the sport.

None of those guys came close to dropping or seriously hurting Usyk and I can't think of any fighter on the planet who has fought that many savage punchers and legit bangers in their last 7 fights, let alone fought them in their backyards

Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year (2018)
ESPN Fighter of the Year (2018)
Sports Illustrated Fighter of the Year (2018)
CBS Fighter of the Year (2018)
Boxing Writers Association of America Fighter of the Year (2018)
Boxing News Fighter of the Year (2018)

Usyk won all his world titles in his opponent's backyards and hasn't had a single home country ref or judge for any of his world title fights ie. the complete antithesis for the vast majority of America's best.

Very athletic, highly skilled, has speed of both hand and foot, high ring IQ, great footwork and punch variety, extremely smooth and fluid in his movement for a big man and just a supremely talented boxer with beautiful skills. He's also very humble and has an immensely likeable personality, a gent and a scholar both in and out of the ring, bags of charisma, and he is an utterly fearless road warrior who relies on clean boxing to win fights and zero deck-stacking and dice loading and on top of all that he's as funny as ****

To be expected, although, it shouldn’t swing us completely of course here. I’m impressed by Usyk’s versatility and real-time adjustments, he’ll make noise simply based on his awareness and ring generalship.

I wouldn’t let the resident ignoramuses misguide the overall purpose of the conversation. I’ll admit I’ve fallen into the trap on several occasions myself.

The likelihood of Wilder/Ruiz/Joshua/Fury being utterly schooled by Usyk is a real possibility; however, there’s no rational way for us to predict with confidence how those fights will go. What’s been evidenced at HW is how he has preformed and reacted to amateur bouts and sparring sessions. All we have is a somewhat uniformed arbitrary assumption regarding how he will perform versus top contenders like White, Rivas, Ortiz, Parker, Kownacki, or even the unproven like Dubious and Hrgovic.

Maybe I’m being harsh because he’s proven his skill set and motor are top notch.

There’s no mystery behind why Usyk is respected and liked, I just don’t see how his character description written and described through your eyes adds to his validation as a pro fighter. Outside of the quantifiable stats you listed your post seems undeniably subjective.

I get why Wilder isn’t your cup of tea but how does that justify you demonizing his character, under repping his accolades and accomplishments as late starter and referring to him as “bum squad”

Regardless of your well detailed selective perception of Americans and American fighters Usyk is likely all those things you mentioned. It’s unfortunate you choose to be drawn to the negative generalities that conveniently substantiate your existing beliefs for my countrymen in the US.

Usyk is not the complete antithesis of the majority of American fighters....all you literally need is one contradiction and that statement is smashed to bits. I’ve known countless fighters that drudged careers overseas only to be distastefully stereotyped and ridiculed on the basis of nothing other than their appearance and origin of passport.

Happy to go on the record saying I think Usyk wins that fight pretty handily. There's a reason why it's a fight within his stable that would generate massive interest that Dillian has been utterly dismissive of making. Uysk is a much much bigger challenge than Parker, Browne and Rivas and Whyte knows it.

Part of my entertainment value for this site is the vastly different interpretations. I respect Serge’s dedication, research and commitment but loathe his lack of objectivity, and his reactive devaluation.
