Pennington told her corner she was done after the 4th, corner didn't want to know it and threw her back in to get her nose obliterated even more...effing disgusting for a corner throwing her back in when she didn't want to be there.

I don't think it was a clear Jacare round. He fought with heart but there wasn't enough in it for a clear winner imo. I routed for Jacare as well because I love the Jits fighters.

But when he went from full mount to inverted arm bar I knew something was up, it was a ridiculous gamble against someone who's never been stopped so early in a fight. Even at the start of the round when he had Gastelum in mount he didn't have the strength to keep him there.

He looked really under trained to me as if he felt himself well above Kelvin and this would be a walkover.

I mean obviously he was ripped but I think twice in a row now he's come out expecting to blow his opponent away whilst he awaits his title shot.

When Gastelum lost to Weidman he was dismissed as a never would be but these back to back victories now put him in the mix for a title shot himself.

Maybe I'm being harsh on Jacare because I thought he should be smarter and better, but I still think the first two rounds were clear and the third was a coin toss.

Maybe I was a bit too harsh in regards to the decision(like Souza) and was starting to get a bit sleepy. But I thought the workrate and 2 very brief takedowns were enough to edge a fairly tight round. You're right though, if Souza had better fitness for this one he probably would have taken it convincingly.

LOL NO ****ING WAY !!! Especially Couture whos style was taylor made for Machida who loved beating up wrestlers.
In his prime Vitor definitely was capable of beating almost anybody if he could catch them early but Machida in his prime would be far to quick for him on most occasions other then Vitor landing a lucky shot imo.
