Díaz is getting sniped with jabs on the face and slowed down as Paul jumps in with right uppers on the body and then scampers away. Díaz keeps trudging on, throwing wild left hands without aiming. Díaz catches up to Paul and slashes haphazardly at him, getting some incidental leather in. Paul forced on the backfoot, tossing weak jabs, looking a touch panicked. Díaz won't go away no matter what he does. Díaz piles on light slapping body shots with both hands.

10-9 Paul, actually super close, if Díaz had gotten inside maybe thirty seconds earlier the round would have been his.

Round 8

Díaz is chirping at Paul while gobbling up jabs and flinging left hands in his face. Paul looking tired and ragged, at times just flat out running without even covering his retreat with a jab. Díaz scores with some very heavy left hands, apparently his stuff in the first seven rounds was just a ruse to lull Paul into a false sense of security. Paul getting absolutely crowded and whooped.
