Mike Tyson fought plenty of tomatoe cans who could clinch him without getting koed. That’s all it takes to close the gap, clinch , underhooks, dive under the legs, hook, and scoop to the floor. Nate would take his back and sub. My reply was to the guy crapping on nate and mma fighters for being tough. so don’t think im crapping on boxers and saying they aint tough, but lots of boxing purists are not realistic in the aspects of fighting.

Eh, still doesn't make sense to me. He goes to mma and gets subbed in a round and his brand takes a big hit imo.

Makes a lot more sense to keep lining these mma guys n influncers up in boxing and racking in the padays while trying to improve n get the Fury rematch in a year or so.

If he wants to grab a quick bag by getting subbed in mma he should just wait a couple years until his boxing is over. In the meantime he can be learning and pra practicing a bit on the side as well.

As for him boxing for 5 I thought he said he's been boxing for 3 years in the post fight interview n was just taking him at his word, if he's been boxing for 5 I'm even more convinced this is his cieling.

Ya man, with big boxing gloves on. Do you realize how much a glovless punch changes things.

This idea that one of the most hittable fighters in combat sports definitely isn't going be hit by Canelo as he closes the gap on him is just kinda ridiculous. And just below that is the idea that Nate takes that punch and stays standing.

People act like mma fighters have some special powers that make them impervious to getting hit by the best punches on the planet as they close the gap.

They routinely knock each other out with punches while closing the gap on one another, but somehow an actual boxer, and an elite one at that, just won't be capable of this.

Mma fans are barely any better than boxing fans when it comes to the realities of fighting.

Anyone who thinks mma is 'real fighting' or that mma fighters won't experience their fair share of getting knocked out as they try closing gaps, are not being realistic when it comes to fighting.

To clarify. Do I think there's a ton of mma fighters Canelos size that would kill him in a real fight? Absolutely.

That doesn't mean Canelo stands no chance against a 38 year old Nate Diaz.

I think he said "10 million to fight Nate in MMA". He doesn't necessarily have to do it next either, if it ever happens. Could be a cash out later on idk.

Yeah Jake was technically telling porky pies, he's been boxing consistently for 5 years at an absolute minimum.

Jake Paul destroyed Nate Diaz in the ring. 98-91 it was not close. Afterwards the media tried to build up the rematch Paul vs Diaz in MMA.

Do you want to see that?

I do not. Jake Paul won. Why would he risk his stock in a sport that is alien to him. Nate Diaz would beat Jake Paul in MMA, so why would Jake allow that?

Jake Paul won the fight. Nate Diaz was the one that took the risk. He came up empty handed.

Nobody wants to see Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz in MMA, unless I'm wrong and nobody wants to see Jake vs Nate in the ring again. That's it for Nate Diaz, his stock is going to drop and drop dramatically, Your thoughts on Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz?

I actually think a PPV in MMA would sell more PPV's then the boxing match because most thought Nate would be KO'd inside 2 so didn't bother buying it.

Looking at the highlights Jake has come on a lot as a boxer. He used to suck big time but right now he actually looks like he belongs in the ring. Not saying he'd be a contender by any means but its obvious he's been working very hard at his game.

Everyone wants to see Paul get choked the **** out. They'd make a tonne of money. Then he can go back ot boxing or continue MMA fighting a lower level guy after a year of mma training. I think it's a good move. I think the old-mma-guys-vs-Paul thing is wearing thin and we just saw what a limited pro boxer in Fury could do to him. He's also branded himself as a guy who breaks the barrier. So do what Floyd never did. Do what Fury will never do. Run it back in their mma home court. It's genius.

If the average IQ, as a whole, across the English-speaking world, went up by ten points-just ten points-this thread would not exist. Jake Paul would not exist. No one would exist. We'd have been just smart enough to vaporize the entire planet by accident, at this point in time. If time is even a thing. And it isn't. This comment isn't even a thing. Not in the verse I come from. From which I come. Came? Comed.
