This is the de facto main event of the Jake Paul vs. Nate Díaz card on Saturday. The women's IBF, WBC, IBO & WBO (second defense of Serrano) and WBA (first defense of Serrano) titles will be on the line. The boricua southpaw defeated her blonde fellow Brooklyn resident via UD last time in a partial unification of the women's featherweight titles on the Devin Haney vs. Zaur Abdullaev undercard almost four years ago. Now they sharing the marquee with - and vastly overshadowed by - the "Youtuber turned wannaba pugilist vs. UFC washout" match-up, but hey, what can you do? Each woman has lost once since their last encounter - Serrano to Katie Taylor and Hardy to Jessica Camara.
Still a big name, though. Doubling up and going over her 2-0 helps Serrano's chances of securing a rematch with Katie Taylor before her own time runs up (as she's no spring hen either). Quite a jump in weight to chase after the Irish lass, but that's probably the biggest payday out there.
Serrano likely repeats the last bout. Choi apparently came back at 140, but she had a fight scheduled against Akaringo at Feather, so maybe the Baumgardner bout is still on the table.
