Canelo doesn't need Benavidez, Benavidez needs Canelo. Benavidez also has no class.

Canelo is an old ATG, Benavidez is an undisciplined, inconsistent former titlist.

Benavidez was at 168 for seven years and didn't do ****. Canelo was at 168 one year and cleaned house.

Benavidez lost his title to coke, and then lost it to gluttony.

Alex Pereira has one of the best left hooks in combat sport. He sparred Zhang, he is alot bigger than Jake Paul. If Dana allows Pereira to go to boxing I don't think Jake would fight him.

    This is pathetic lol.

Youre advocating for Canelo to fight Jake Paul instead of the interim champion and clear number one contender.

    A new low.

I love Pereira but Jake is too slick and powerful for him

The only MMA fighter who has a chance vs Jake in a boxing ring is Tommy Aspinall and he's a 260lb HW

I still got Jake in that one too

Jake had his first ama in 2018. probably a lot closer to 7 years training pure boxing. Perry doing mma which is every discipline under different set of rules and 170lb weight class is not a good start.

Id like to see him just fight one mw mma guy who isn’t old and washed. not even a world champ. A guy like Chris Curtis would school him. i wasn’t impressed with his finishing skills tonight. Jake can be walked down by the right guy.

Whats crazy is... Alex is one of the most feared UFC strikers in the world, and would have the size advantage against Jake, and I bet Dana still doesnt have the guts to let him box Jake.

Crazy how scared UFC brass are of boxing.

Jake would lose, i think Alex would ko Tommy too, a guy who almost lost to ksi who beat Jake. you’re comparing celeb boxers with real killers.

Nope. I'm stating the truth. Benavidez chose to fight B level fighters, he chose to do cocaine, he chose to be undisciplined and miss weight.. meanwhile Canelo was disciplined and beating ALL the champions at 168.

These are Benavidez' top three opponents.

Andrade- 154 career fighter unproven at 160 and 168.

Dirrell- Arguably lost to Yildirim who Canelo easily destroyed.

    Plant- Canelo's son.

Yet you think Canelo is ducking him?

Why didn't Benavidez enforce his mandatory status in March? Why did he move up in weight a week before he could enforce his mandatory status? Why isn't he willing to fight Canelo on DAZN?

Benavidez has way to many stips for the record he holds.

Ask yourself if you think Perreira would have taken 6-7 rounds to ko Perry or get hit at all? Alex would have koed perry in rnd 1.

Of course a world champion kickboxer would beat two significantly smaller celeb boxers...

if only the UFC was as confident as you though.

Perry would've lasted the distance against Periera with boxing gloves on. Jake has dropped every man he has ever faced

This is legit brain rot. I normally expect this kind of stuff from you, but to advocate a Jake Paul fight over Benavidez because Benavidez has no class is textbook Canelo fangirlism. This isn't a damn business luncheon or a courtroom, it's a fight in a ring. Not wanting to fight someone because he hurt your feelings is one of the most pathetic, and embarassing excuses I've ever heard, and for you to be parroting that on behalf of another man is equally as pathetic and embarassing.

Now please tell me how much better Munguias super middleweight resume is than Canelos number one contender lol.

(Pssst, Isal, when you skip fighting the number one guy in your division and the main fight fans want to see you in, to fight lesser rated opponents and fights people dont care about as much, I hate to tell you this but thats a duck, regardless how much you try discrediting the number one guy lol)

Majority of the boxing world outside of scared Canelo groupies, want to see Canelo vs DB. If you spend any time hearing actual fans and fighters alike talk about the division, thats the fight the world wants to see.

Canelo is the champion and with that, comes obligantions. If Canelo isnt wanting to give boxing the fights it wants, then wtf is he doing now... just holding the belt hostage and milking his gullible fans at this point.

Now hurry and tell me how Jake Paul and Chris Eubank deserve the fight more than DB, lmao.

gloves dont change power they only help with defense which perry does not have.

No one would really want that fight, bigger super fights exist if your a ufc fan. if rather see him fight Ankalaev or Jon Jones.

I dont care to see alex just fight hands only, what makes him exciting is his overall boxing kicking aspect and his defensive wrestling. Alex is making the rulebook for all strikers to follow in how to transition from striking to mma.
