The 11 weight classes of Amateur Boxing ( for the Olympics..) are:

    106 lbs,
    112 lbs,
    19 lbs,
    125 lbs,
    132 lbs,
    141 lbs,
    152 lbs
    165 lbs
    178 lbs
    201 lbs
    201+lbs.

    i found that on a site...now my question is i weight 195-200 ...typically 200
but im hearing that i would be heavy weight...im just confused on the weight classes

your a heavyweight. If you were 201+ you would be a super heavyweight, in the amateurs.

You're in the 178-201 class. Heavy. 201+ is Super Heavy.
