    He's 26 years old.

By the time Mayweather was 26 years old, he had already been lineal champion in two divisions.

By the time Mayweather was 20 years old, he beat Genaro Hernandez. Genaro Hernandez >>>>> Orlando Salido, who Loma will be fighting.

No that's not what I meant. All I'm saying is I bet mayweather stayed well away from anyone who beat him in the amateurs

Why bring age into it? Are you saying experience in the ameteurs is equivelant to experience in pros?

Was Ottke really the only one on there with any draws, let alone 5. If so it looks like they started that career robbery early.

Also don't forget that Loma had more than 4 times more fights than Floyd and of you take the losses of mayweather and times it by 4 you could say that if Floyd fought as many fight as Loma he could have more than 20 losses

    I brought age into it?

Experience in the amateurs isn't equal to experience in the pros, no.

But age is directly related to physical prime, yes.

    You said this ^.

Mayweather was done fighting as an amateur by the time he was 20 years old.

Loma fought as an amateur until he was 25 years old.

As I said before, age and physical prime are associated.

bball brought up this ^, which is the truth.

You are implying that Lomachenko has somehow fought better competition than Floyd in that point in their lives. All I posted were facts that point to the contrary.

I'm aware. I read the article (was it 12? Thought I read they were 8 or 9 years old... either way). That's why I brought it up.

Amateurs mean nothing. Different sport. Success doesn't translate, nor do credentials.

My point was that in the amateurs they bothe fought the best. Floyd lost more against the best than Loma did. Yes Floyd left at 20 yet Loma stayed till 25 but Loma had 4 times as any fights. Had Loma stopped at the age of 20 his amateur record would have still pissed on Floyd's. My point was Floyd duks the best in the pros hence no losses

:patsch WAt r talking about the amateurs is insanely important! YDKSAB all the best boxers were good amateurs or had alot of fights generally,

    wlad klitshcko

    rigo

    mayweather

    lara

    etc

u dont seem to realize the pros is heavily political and theres plenty of amateurs right now and in the wsb could beat most pro champs,

take a look at roniel igleis at 69 or 64 he would shcool bradley marquez all these guys bro
