The 2009 World Junior Championships semifinalist Roman Fress is set to make his pro debut on February 3. He is 23 years old and is 6.2 feet tall. He will fight at cruiserweight. I consider and for years have considered Joseph Goodall the best Oceania region heavyweight. I think he is a world champion in the making.
Another good amateur is turning pro. This time Rostyslav Arkhypenko will turn pro February 13. He will box in cruiserweight division and has signed with second biggest promoter in Russia RCC Boxing. Arhipenko has a draw with Yoka and wins over Kuzmin, Plevako, Leinier Perot(CUB), Mou Haipeng(He is a pro now), Kamshybek Kunkabayev(Best Kazakhstan's amateur super heavyweight at the moment), Sergey Egorov(Good heavyweight who is still in amateurs.http://www.boxing-scoop.com/show_boxer.php?boxer_ID=30164) and Omarov. https://www.worldseriesboxing.com/boxers/rostyslav-arkhypenko/ http://www.boxing-scoop.com/show_boxer.php?boxer_ID=14163
Arhypenko's pro debut is off. Second time this happens to him. He was set to make pro debut last year but that failed to materialize. If he fights in this year's WSB, he will not turn pro this year.
Rostyslav Arkhypenko. His pro debut has been canceled but he is likely to turn pro because Ukraine is without WSB team this year. Ukraine's government denied funding to Ukraine's WSB team.
Heavyweight Viktor Vykhirst is another who could turn pro because of the lack of Ukraine's team in the WSB amateur competition.
