I hope so. I think he would do very well in the pro game.

Another amatuer has gone pro, this time it's Josip Bepo Filipi, cruiserweight from Croatia. He is arguably the best Croatian cruiserweight from the amateurs. Josip Bepo Filippi will make his pro debut on September 8th card.

P.S. In 2008 he became Croatian cadet champion and in 2010 Croatian youth champion. At the Croatian Elite Class Championships, he won gold in 2017, silver in 2013, and bronze in 2012, 2015 and 2016.

He won a bronze medal in 2008 at the Junior European Championships in Plovdiv. 2013 followed the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin and in 2015 a bronze medal at the European Games in Baku. In the 2016 Olympic Games in Baku he lost in the second round against Igor Jakubowski.

Acomplished amateur Yamil Peralta has turned pro. He won his first pro fight by KO in 1st round.

P.S. More about his amateur career:

At the 2010 South American Games he was stopped by Carlos Gongora and won Bronze at light heavy but moved up afterwards.
At the 2011 Pan American Games he lost the heavyweight semifinal to eventual champion Lenier Pero 9:13.
At the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships he lost his first bout to Canadian Samir El Mais, whom he beat at the Olympic qualifier in a rematch 15:12, which was enough to punch his London ticket even though he lost the final to Michael Hunter 10:12.
At the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's heavyweight he defeated Chouaib Bouloudinat but lost to Tervel Pulev 10:13.

Talanted cruiserweight Ilya Rudenko has signed deal with World of Boxing.
He will make his pro debut on September 15th show.
Ilya Rudenko is finalist of Sidney Jackson Memorial. He has win over Sergey Kuzmin and others and second round stoppage over Rashid Kodzoev. He barely lost to Jose Larduet in amateurs by a 2:1 decision.

Heavyweight Erik Pfeifer have signed with EC Box Promotion in Hamburg (Germany) and makes his pro debut on September 15 in Luebeck. Pfeifer have been among the best heavyweights in the amateurs for some time now and have also been a "pro" with AIBA.

I hope Majidov turns pro soon. It would be a big miss for the sport, just like Camarelle

Gabriel Richards, Whateley, Bepo Filipi, Erik Pfeifer, Ilya Rudenko all will turn pro very soon, 5 amateurs turning pro in such short period is a record for this period of the year.

Vincenzo Mangiacapre (Italy) made his pro debut last month at Light Middleweight. Olympic Bronze medalist and World championship Bronze medalist. Had a 12-4 record in the WSB. Good to see a top Italian amateur turning pro cause they rarely turn pro these days.

Gabriel Richards didn't make his debut. Bepo Filipi scored decision victory over Predrag Jevtic. And Ilya Rudenko lost his pro debut by decision.
