    I have to disagree.
La Cruz does have an impressive chin, he was knocked down by a clean shot right in the chin by Joshua Buatsi who is one of the hardest punchers in the amateurs, just to get up and outbox the hell out of him.
He also took some good shots from Melekuziev who is a great puncher and strong AF and still beat him 5-0.

Cruz fought Bektemir Melikuzuiev? Surely he was too big for him.

Buatsi is indeed a massive puncher, but I'm still a bit suspicious he might be packing some Cuban glass in those whiskers of his though. I'm sure I've seen him hurt in another fight. That said, even if he is he's probably the most slippery and elusive fighter in world boxing, am or pro. Guy's as slippery as a fish on oil lol

    He fought him on friday.
I thought that La Cruz was slowing down so I expected Melekuziev to pull a close one, that been said, I don't know why Melekuziev is fighting at 81, I think he could even make 69.
And he tagged La Cruz and made him miss but Julio was too much for the raw Melekuziev who made him fight with his hands up.

OK when you said they'd fought each other I wrongly assumed you must have meant they'd done so in the past. I had no idea he's moved up to LHW. I'm a bit shocked to hear that to be honest. Yes I know he's only a baby and still growing, but he looked like was carrying a little bit of puppy fat at MW or at least a little bit soft. And he's too short for LHW too. He's only 5'8''. The thought of him moving up had never even crossed my mind. Sounds like a terrible idea to me. I'll have to try and see that fight. Two great talents but totally contrasting styles.

He looked a little out of shape IMO, even at 75.
I think he should try to go down smartly and he would stream roll everyone , imo he is p4p talent but it's under the raw style of Uzbek boxing.

He's definitely a great talent. He's done brilliant to achieve all of what he has at his young age. I can't even envisage how he'd look up at LHW. He needs to get ass back down to MW where he belongs.
