Amaze's me when Boxing fans slag off MMA...

Doesn't 'amaze's' me you're a UFC fan. Do you like WWE too?

 

MMA and Boxing are two different Sports. I dont have a issue with either of them.

So what do you do in return? Slag off boxing

 

I'm a combat fan so I like boxing, mma, kickboxing etc To like one form of combat given that there are so many disciplines, with many being so alike, astounds me.

Boxing is a martial art. The sport only allows you to use the one discipline though. In UFC and other orgs, you can use multiple martial arts, hence mixed. Kickboxing, I may be wrong, but you can kick and punch, boxing and kicking, mma.

I know right! A few idiotic statements against MMA don't make it right to make idiotic statements against boxing. All Ward does is jab and hold hahahahaha, maybe OP should do what MMA critics should do and learn more about a sport before insulting a style and/or individual of it.

Nothing wrong with either and both are different sports as I'm a big fan of both though I favor boxing much more. Just saying its pretty stupid to make outlandish statements on a sport and/or an athlete of a sport that you don't know anything about. Especially when no two fighters fight exactly alike and the "best" approach to one (standing,ground,infighting,etc) is subjective.

Btw, many MMA fighters incorporate boxing into their styles(think BJ Penn or GSP) so boxing can be a part of MMA. Hence it being called, "Mixed Martial Arts" opposed to boxing which is fought with one art(standing) but many styles despite that(brawler,infighter,outboxer,puncher,etc).

 

Ugly stylists and foolish fans plague all combat sports.

All competitions in general. Not just combat ones either. I hear people say ignorant things about all sports/races/events in general. Unfortunately, ignorance is a normal part of human nature.
