I haven't listened to it yet, but I will. In any case Bhop is a favourite of mine. He has given boxing some really great moments in and outside the ring, I hope this is another win, lose or draw!

Too many people want to criticise boxers without giving anything of themselves to the sport.

good post im bout to watch it now. even if its been posted always good to re post it because some people miss the first post like me. but now i get to watch it, good looking.

 

I'm not glossing over anything, I just can't manage to imagine where all this is coming from. He fouled and faked against Roy, acted during Calzaghe...did he foul and hold against Pascal? Did he say a single bad thing about Chad to the media after he lost? Is he selfish for giving to multiple charities and hyping Bozella on his under-card?

Hopkins is no angel by any stretch of the imagination, but the way people talk about him, like above, you'd think he talked **** like Mayorga, fouled, quit, and cried like Judah & Ortiz, held like Ruiz, and made excuses like Haye or Klit fans.

 

Remember his other wise words. 'i will never lose to a white boy

 

All talk.. U hear Bernard talk and he gives u the impression that he's going to do something extraordinary in the ring.. Then u watch him fight and he puts u to ****in sleep with all that bull****, hugging, mugging and always just stalling action..

Him faking that shoulder injury against Dawson was pure comedy..

He claims to be a throwback fighter .. Yea that was a real throwback move.. lol

 

BHOP is a wannabe. That speech was useles but I still respect his achievements and hope he wins. :yep Let's see if he can make it to 50 yo. :yep

 

He's a G, straight up. Don't come expecting respect from him, you gotta earn it. He's ****ing hardcore. A black Erik Morales.

It's always funny when you see people all like 'Hopkins is boring and hugs and fights dirty' then the same people go on to mention fighters that have failed more drug tests then Lance Armstrong atsch and apparently these guys are what constitutes a boxer worth admiring.

:deal If you can't appreciate Hopkins, then you should be watching another sport because YDKSAB. Craft, man. He's a craftsman and he kills you with 1000 cuts.

I'm not down with bashing Superman though.

 

If you never knew who Hopkins was you can tell he loves generally loves the sport and its not strictly for money based on this speech
