Amazing Cotto vs. Margarito fan promo...

Good video.

But I have some observations:


1. Cotto and Margarito are not the two most dangerous welterweights. The two most dangerous welterweights are Cotto and Mosley, Cotto and Williams, or Cotto and Mayweather. Stop overrating Margarito.

2. There is no concrete evidence that they are avoided by boxing's biggest stars. Especially Margarito.


But, ****, it's a great video. I watched it twice. Really good.

Weell....What can I say? I'm not a fan of him. He's brave. He has guts and is the kind of fighter that some boxing fans like. I prefer Cotto.

Miguel Cotto is the better technician, but I honestly think Margarito will have a say on the outcome. Antonio Margarito has the punching power and workrate to tko Miguel. I dont' think that is in question.

you are 100% right. they need to show this promo or anything close to it on channels like abc, nbc, cbs, and fox. I know it's probably just wishful thinking. but if they added some of their better ko's, they can make the video even better. the music was perfect. this can surely attract more fans, particularly more latin fans.

i live in NC. there is a huge latin community (mostly mexicans). in the high school i teach at, there is a large mexican population. most of them are into soccer and dont know much about boxing. one thing i do know is that mexicans are loyal to their athletes whether they like boxing or not, if they saw a commercial like this on TV, i'm 100000% positive they would buy this fight (if they were financially capable)

the few puerto ricans around here that i know dont keep up with boxing much, but they do know who cotto is. these are the type of fans that dont know when big fights are coming up but if it is shown to them, they would definitely buy it.

again, i hope they show something like this on more than just HBO. at the least, it must be shown on ESPN.

 

Great promo video, and the "Epic Score" is what does it for me. The entire time I was watching it.....I kept hearing Ivan Drago's voice from Rocky IV saying "If He Dies.....He Dies" .....playing over and over in my head.....July 26th can't get here soon enough for me!
