Take a look at this for thunderous Heavyweight action from David Tua last night-

Have you got rounds 1-11 there for a more balanced view of his thunderous action?

He was very poor and it would have been a diservice for his to have won. That said i would congratulate the ref, i feared a BS stoppage at one point in the 12th.

You are right - Tua came in overweight and let himself down by "plodding" for half the fight. Then came awake and started slugging Barrett in the head.

You think he will fight on? Havent seen any of the post fight, did he have a troubled camp or has anything been said?

He came in at 244 pounds - simply too heavy. Said he had a good camp, though.

Tua says he will fight on - but he just HAS to get his conditioning better.

This is a very serious loss for Tua.

Tua needs a slap, had he won in this crazy era where you can get a shot at a big title easily he could have got back in the game, to be so fat and uninterested is ****ing shocking

No, this was supposedly the best camp he's had in years because he was being backed financially.

If he isnt careful he will be brought over to Europe to be a name on someones record. Not sure about the man or if he has an ego and would take the step down but it could be worth him coming to UK though, get him in a weak Prizefighter then a Mike Perez or Tyson Fury fight. Sure he would get a decent payday.

Joe - I have to agree.
Tua's career in the last 8 years has to be the worst waste in boxing. Just an IMMENSE talent wasted. I am sure he could have got a Title if only he had gone all-out for it. Look at the punching power of the guy at 38 years old. Such a waste.

Trenaman - that is exactly what he should do. Aim for a payday with Tyson Fury or Arreola.

Best thing he could do right now. Even Wlad may want to take him on.
