Key points to take from this interview.

Apparently, sending an offer is not the start of a negotiation?? - of course im not a promoter but surely that would be atleast a start even if it was deemed too low.

Team Wilder is not going to be chasing - But i thought they were pushing hard for this fight, they should be chasing Hearn like an angry mob. Also everyone is running from Wilder arent they? this doesnt add up haha.

Now Wilder has fought Ortiz, he will only be fighting the best - Wilder about to turn down 5 x highest payday against the #1 in the division to fight Dominic Brazeale (not a terrible fighter but got KOd against a green AJ)

Do people still actually believe all this team Wilder smoke n mirrors?

Everyone just wants to see this fight but I dont think it will be this year. I think its clear to see who really wants this fight and its not BumZquad

He says Hearn's offer was a 'grandstanding, publicity kind of thing.'

But Hearn never made that offer public to my knowledge? I thought it was Wilder's side which did that?

Fight won't happen too many egos involved. Joshua needs to drop his demands and go down to 60 / 40 in favour of Wilder. Or get down on his knees so each member of the bomb squad can kick him in his ass, for being such a greedy bodybuilder.

Lol he said he is a bit busy right now. Can this big time manager only manage 1 guy at a time?? And he isnt Wilders only manager. They were banging on at Joshua and Hearn when Joshua was training to fight Parker and Hearn was promoting that fight but now both fighters are a free to negotiate and Hearn has sent an offer HE IS A BIT BUSY. This idiot looks as uncomfortable fielding questions about Wilder Joshua as Oscar and Canelo were fielding any quesitons about anything in the GGG rematch presser before he pulled out.

There's something really, really annoying about Lou DiBella. I think it's his sleepy eyes, those thin lips, and his voice.

What amazes me about this... Lou is a promoter and yet manages in the course of 1 interview to shoot himself in the foot multiple times. What can you take from what he said..

Lou and team Wilder are too busy to consider offers to fight AJ.

Wilder will be defending his title soon (clear admission that the fight is made with Dominic). Whilst denying it has been made with nervous glancing around. Make no mistake folks.. Wilder vs Brazeale is a done deal.

So it's looking increasingly unlikely we will see AJ vs Wilder before next year. :-(

Man DiBella was squirming there, clearly they do not want the fight next as their focus is else where apparently, what bull****. Joshua/Wilder is clearly not a priority to them or that all of Wilder's managers, Haymon, Finkel and Dibella don't have the time to deal with a negotiation with Joshua, while little old Eddie all by himself is somehow promoting Khan/Greco, Jacobs/Sulecki and still has time to fit in negotiations with Wilder.

Sending an offer in writing is apparently not how you start a negotiation according to Dibella, WTF!. Well going into hiding, not responding to calls, emails, offers isn't a way to start a negotiation either. Better tell Higgins and Hearn they did it wrong earlier in the year all the emails they sent apparently doesn't count as a negotiation.

I agree with him in regards to a fight will happen when both sides want it and clearly his side does not want this fight right now despite all the talk of wanting it next.

Lol at Dibella calling the offer an attempt to grandstand or get publicity, that offer wasn't done publicly it was they who leaked the offer to the public, it was them who publicly announced they would send a counter offer in 48hrs, it was Wilder's team grandstanding and taking it onto a public forum, not Hearn. Well that backfired spectacularly didn't it, now everyone knows they are ducking the fight.

Also Dibella clearly showing how naive he is in regards to social media. Stars can be made on social media, for him to simply disregard the platform shows hows how stuck in the past he is. Hearn by promoting himself gives a platform for him to promote his fighters. While DiBella is stuck in the 90's along with Haymon who is trying to build boxing back on old terrestrial TV via PBC like it's 1982 or something, it looks like Hearn is looking to strike a deal with the future of broadcasting and make a deal with a major streaming service.

Never seen Lou so rattled seemly over nothing. Eddie really has been rattling that cage. Maybe he's frustrated with the inactivity or decisions his co managers....too many cooks spoil the broth kinda thing.

Just a side issue but i distinctly remember Carl Froch or Eddie around the time of the Super Six or just after explaining how he had agreed a fight with Lou over text message.

So he admits to not even responding to Hearn. Doesn’t see any urgency. Has better things to do. Well there’s this thing called a mandatory Lou. You can call Hearn a “mother****er” all you want, but he’s the one making the moves. What an arrogant piece of **** Dibella is.
