pac's fight night weight was already in the 140's during the pac-em 3. so moving to 135 to fight d. diaz and hatton at 140 was not really moving up in weight. just stopped draining himself. i remember when i watched the em/pac 3, i noticed that pac was noticeably huge compared to morales. we know that morales was struggling to make weight at that time.

 

I remember after watching the 3rd Morales fight Bob Sheridan was proclaiming that Pacquiao is the man that is going to defeat Mayweather.

That was the first time I heard about the possible matchup.
