why start at 160 though? Seems arbitrary.

Lets just look at everything, shall we?

Using the same rankings, of the top 25 pound for pound, 8 are American. That's 32%.

    The rest:

    UK: 2
    Philippines: 2
    Mexico: 2
    Argentina: 2
    Cuba: 2
    Canada: 1
    Russia: 1
    Ukraine: 1
    Puerto Rico: 1
    Bulgaria: 1
    Kazakstan: 1
    Australia: 1

    other sports
think about it lennox lewis absolutely destroyed vitali.the glass jaw brother was wasted by lamon brewster. holyfield, tyson, bowe will have their way with wladimir prison style where vitali would be another top contender that gets destroyed by lewis

    :nut:rofl

I and other have seen your moronic material. Wlads style is very similar to your hero Ali... jab n grab, rinse n repeat. Of course in this era Ali would be too weak to compete w/modern HWs. Ali was decked by less than full CWs  A few jabs or half hooks by Wlad would drop Ali.
Tyson lost to Douglas ffs. Bowe couldn't handle Golota. Holy, even roided up, is too small to compete with the best modern HWs :bart

Wlads loss to Brew was a fluke except to haters. In the return Wlad didn't have that bizarre experience and pummled Brew (like he was in the 1st fight). Wlad is on top and Brew has been long gone. No comparison. The Vitali-LL bout was very competitive and LL was an ATG HW. After that LL wanted no more of VK.

You're living in the past. Why do you even watch pro boxing? Black Ams are not going to return to dominating HW or the other divisions. Too much world comp now :hi:

    No it wasn't "arbitrary".
Maybe the OP wanted the scope to be middle to HW :patsch

I could have also gone from 105 to 135 and the results would have been similar

Also considering America used to dominate 160 to heavyweight it's a question why they are doing crappy now

America goes where the money is Football Baseball and Basketball. With Boxing there are no guarantees of a big paycheck, and why take up a sport where you get hurt if you don't have to, it all about making it big the easiest way possible.

Sure, you could cherry-pick weight-classes and come to any conclusion you like.

Bottom line is that 8 (32%) of the top 25 pound for pound are American.

P4p on boxrec are very inaccurate due to lower weight classes and not getting any points while others getting a dispreportatiote amount

I think rigo is barely in the top 20 on boxrec, no that that has been debunked what have you got to say next

I doubt any other country would have a majority of their fighters either. USA has 3 of the top 5, for what it's worth.

weren't you the one basing your analysis on boxrec ratings to begin with? What sort of hypocrisy is this, anyway?

Do you take me a for a fool?
