I'd still want to crack America if I was a fighter and I'm sure most feel the same way.
Sorry, but fighting on a top bill in Vegas is still the Holy Grail of boxing.

American promoters promote fighters from around the world that's why it's boxings home.

To have a big fight in any other country one fighter has to be local to that country.

I can remember how Winky and Sergio's time fighting in Europe is so fondly recalled by them.
They only stopped because it was too good.

That's because as a brainwashed brit, you're always gonna be daddy's little ***** as you must feel like a softer version of a yank and endlessly look for US recognition by keeping your eyes to the west. Nothing wrong with that though, lots of working girls love their pimp too, to each his own. :good

It is embarrassing that the crowds are so poor, especially when it's top rated fighters involved. Some of those fights could pack out arena's in Europe and become the event's they deserve to be.

PPV and premium Channels lie HBO and SHOWTIME ****ed up Boxing in America.

The Klitschkos can fill huge stadiums in Germany because they are fighting on Free Cable TV since their Pro debuts and they show up on popular talks shows of those Channels. Back when i was in High School over here even girls and nerds were Klitschko fans but they couldnt even differ the Brothers.

Sad times for the NATIONALISTIC American fan, perhaps. But as long as they show fights here is the U.S., or make 'em available on the net, I will be happily watching boxing.

Unlike nationalistic bozos of all groups, for the REAL boxing fan, what counts is the quality of the fighters and the fight, not where they are from. That's what matters to me.

The fact remains that unless you are based in Germany(maybe) if you want the really big fights, you do to America.

You can talk about British fighters packing halls out, but when they want the real money and the real fights they go to America.

    Khan
    Hatton
    Lewis
Naz etc all ended up going to America for the big fights.

If your Asian, Latin American, African, and good you end up going to America for the big fights.

    Pacquiao
    Adamek
    Golovkin
    Clottey
    The COUNTLESS Latin American fighters

I could go on and on
They all know they need to set up camp in America

Boxing needs to move out of the casinos and into the stadiums. The MGM might have the prestige, but it's just too small and pokey for the really big fights.
