Those were hispanic/latino fighters supported by a mostly Mexican/Mexican American crowd.

No way did HBO give free tickets away for Ward vs Dawson. Ward always sells out at home. Making up lies to suit your pointless anti-American agenda.

America is not the be all end all anymore as boxing has become more global, but I do think at this moment in time Vegas is still the place to host big marquee matchups. The Klitschko's have success in Germany but let's not forget that some of that is out of necessity because American's, Mexican's and even Canadian's wouldn't show up to watch it. The heavyweight division is so stagnant, you guys across the ocean can keep it for now.

Let's take a look at other division's. At SMW the man to beat right now is Ward, do you see him going to Europe? Yeah, right. There is also a chance he will be moving up to LHW where the big fights would still be hosted in North America seeing as the likely opponents that he would face are Dawson, Pascal, Cloud, Campillo, Kovalev who just made the trip over.

At MW, two of the top European fighters just travelled to appear on HBO to make more of a name for themselves.

The lower down the list you go just gets more North American, with the exception of the far east fighters.

America hasn't been the home of boxing for a long time, their isn't a home of boxing.

Every fighter should be aiming for Vegas but other than that America is the same as anywhere else in the world, the home fighter is almost always the favorite and is always the one who sells the tickets.

I don't understand why Americans don't come over to Europe, more people watch boxing over here and more money (other than the biggest events) is made.

What are you talking about, all your HW's are dying to get a chance from a klitschko and fight him in germany. How many americans came to fight klitschkos in europe? Have you ever heard about steve cunningham- seems he doesn't think that america is home of boxing. Hernandez from cuba? ofcourse cooto, floy and manny don't fight in europe, simply because it's ****ing hard to even find grown up boxers that weigh that little. You can find good boxers from 160 lb up and also many important fights happened in europe in the higher weights.

Love how you've just lumped all of Europe into one big place, as though it's all the same :lol:

Of course the biggest fights are still in Las Vegas, they probably always will be. However, boxing is becoming more of a global sport, and European fighters are getting better and better. I never understood why Americans are so hostile towards all other nationalities?
