Boxing fans, America desperately needs a boxing star. Manny Pacquiao won't be around for long and there has to be a future rising American boxer to take his place. Who is it going to be? The world of boxing is holding on a thin thread and we can't let MMA take over the sweet science. This should be enough reason for trainers and fighters out there to get to work. Now is your chance to make boxing in America the best combative sport. America needs a boxing super star!
Since when was Manny Pacquiao American? :huh or do you mean that America needs to take another international fighter to call their own. Lets have a look at Uncle sams fighters Andre Ward "the son of god" aint really taking off in terms of general skill or popularity . . . although mysteriously he gets the win every time :hey Andre Berto is technically Hatian and is unfortunate enough to be in the same weight class as Mayweather and Pacquiao etc. Andre Dirrell is suffering from "brain damage" as diagnosed by the medical marvel Dr. Shaw Hi Andre Bishop is a freaking video game charector (on a side note why are all the good american boxers called Andre for ****s sake?) Shane Mosley is old and shopworn but is still getting a fight with Pacquiao ( curse you bob arum! ) Steve Cunningham moved to germany :deal Tavoris Cloud is suprisingly underated :nono Devon Alexander got raped by fellow american Bradley Timothy Bradley is waiting to get raped by Amir Khan :bbb Cornelius Bundrage . . . enough said Bernard Hopkins - gotta give the old guy respect, not as bad as people thought he was Pavlik and Pascal HA! but still he aint gonna be around much longer
@RedDragonBoxing, WHat i mean is America needs a rising boxing super star. Obviously, Pacman is not an american. My point is what happens when Pac retires? Boxing will need a new super star and I prefer it to be an american because boxing's capital is in USA.
They will come along. They always do. Beating De La Hoya was the way you became a star but now he's gone.
Sorry, i just really wanted to rant :nut But yeah i see what you mean. It could be Amir Khan seeming as he's moved to the states, he's pretty popular in the UK
Pavlik needs to make a comeback and go back to that killer he used to be and start knocking mother****ers out again
Kelly is in a position to write one of the most exciting chapters in recent boxing history. Whether or not he will do that remains to be seen, but I'll sure as hell be rooting for him!
I really thought Jermaine was going to be the one to do it, he was hyped hard by HBO. Right now I guess Tim Bradley has the best chance but he needs to finish better.
