No it didn't go "exactly the way you said it would." In fact, I pointed that out specifically here:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119439

Shane Mosley dominated Margarito start to finish. There was no effective "work rate" from Margarito as you predicted. Mosley pushed Margarito back, was the stronger fighter, circled Margarito instead of backpeddling like Cotto, smothered Margarito when he tried to get off punches. Right hand after right hand hit its mark until Antonio Margarito succumbed to a KO loss. NONE of this you predicted. The fight that occurred did not even remotely resemble the SD scenario you posted. Predicting a "win" is one thing, trying to claim credit for a win that went "exactly the way I predicted" even though it didn't, is something you will be called on

And I see you don't have anything to retort with other than "just ask Puerto Ricans" How about you pick up a history book, genius? Here's a start:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Rico

And by the way, Puerto Ricans do consider themselves part of the United States. I grew up with them in NYC. Especially the ones that served alongside me in the armed forces. You must be confused with Puerto Rican pride, Columbus Boy, which every Puerto Rican proudly displays. That's doesn't seem to stop over half the population now favoring statehood, with a student movement within Puerto Rico pushing for statehood as soon as possible

About the only thing I saw correct in that Last edited by Jeff M; 01-25-2009 at 11:17 AM post was that Shane would slip punches and side step. You were basically wrong about everything else, from the type of punches that would be most effective, to Margarito needing Shane to be directly in front of him in order to be effective himself, all culminating in your split decision prediction. You even corrected yourself in that thread, yet it was still wrong  (right hand to the head that ultimately led to the KO, not left hook).

While I am aware of that you will note that commentators and announcers in the UK, Ireland and rest of Europe will say Super-Flyweight,Super-Bantamweight, Super-Featherweight, Light-Welterweight, Light-Middleweight.

Where as American commentators may call them either that or Jnr bantamweight, Jnr Lightweight, Super-Lightweight/Jnr Welterweight, Super-Welterweight/Jnr Middleweight etc divisions.

It does not matter what the association itself calls the title in both the UK and Ireland it would be announced as the IBF Super-Bantamweight title even though the IBF don't call it that.

Jeff, I mean this with utmost respect, but damn you ARE a hard one to figure out a lot of times. Sometimes you make very intelligent posts and fight analysis ( which impress the **** out of me), and then there's like an alter-ego Jeff that seems to be King of the Trolls (this seems to happen alot when you and Nallege team up on a subject).

Whatever though, I guess the good outweighs the "bad", so **** it.:rofl

Big Ears!!! Cool man! Haven't seen you in a while! How's things been?

You used to always put up the links for RTE fights, and folks haven't been doin' that lately. (Unless I missed it, of course).

Ah pretty good, one of the reasons I haven't been putting fights up is I've been going out quite a bit more(University life etc), but the other is some other guys had started doing it and there was no need for it to be posted twice. Once people started doing that I just got lazy , so I just never bothered posting the links anymore and sometimes no one would post them or else people would post and the thread would fall its way down the pages without getting seen much.

I'll try and do them more in the future though cause I know quite a few people enjoy those streams and if I put them up a day or so in advance like I used to and then just post a reminder people are more likely to see them.

RTÉ don't have any cards scheduled at the moment though, the last one was the Dunne fight on the 21st of March.
There aren't as many shows on RTÉ as there used to be though, one of their headliners(Paul McCloskey) has to fight on UK station Sky for his next 2 fights(and his two previous fights) as it was part of a deal allowing him to fight for the British title.

John Duddy has obviously had contractual problems.
Andy Lee was out with a cut and only came back on the undercard of Lee's fight.

A English promoter(of Irish descent) Frank Maloney has started putting cards on in Ireland aswell. He has Irish Olympian Darren Sutherland in his stable and his shows are alson on the UK Satellite channel Sky.
http:///www.boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=564077 that was the last televised bill in Ireland before Dunne's fight.

http://www.boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=573835 that card although not promoted live will be available on gofightlive.tv for I think about $7. The 3 Cubans are very talented and exciting fighters two. The two Irish guys on the card are limited but exciting fighters and carry plenty of power.

Pipe Wrenched, I have to admit you had me cracking the **** up with this post! I think alter-ego Jeff just likes to wind certain people up sometimes but eventually still ends up getting along with most of those he winds up! lol LMFAO @ "when you and Nallege team up." At least I have impressed at times! It's strange, I admit I'm like 2 people! IMO

The editor-in-chief of the Ring is Nigel Collins, who is from Bristol,England. After reading his eulogy to Reg Gutteridge,he didn't appear to be self-loathing.Plus Hatton wasn't rated in the top 10 p4p in the Ring until he beat overrated Malignaggi(Huh?),then Hatton was placed at 10.Hatton hasn't fought since, but was mysteriously moved up to 8 even without having fought.
