Like it or not Calzaghe belongs in the list of big names you mentioned you need to suck it up and give him his props. Me personally I would love to see an American sort the heavyweights out,but the fact is you have no one. Jones, Calzaghe, mayweather, hopkins are coming to the end, so who's taking over the reigns, Chad? I dont think so he aint gonna last! Maybe this resession would bring back some grit and balls your boys once had. Get off the Calzaghe hate train!

Well no one cares what you like, so scram.

Probably an immigrant anyway with no sense of pride, history or respect.

A flag represents a country, I for one love my country and all it has contributed and achieved, and that country also represents your families livihood, homes and heritage ( unless you are an immigrant)

Kessler was very good...but Kessler to this point hasn't proven his hype during that time Joe dismantled him. I will say Kessler did very well, even better than I expected but over all it was a dominating preformance by Joe and Kessler's best win was either markus byer or Mudine.

Since Kessler was prime and a holder of two titles at the time it was a very good win....but given Kessler's preformances or preformance since I say it's clear he's not in the conversation where Bhop, Joe C, Chris Eubanks, Roy Jones or Benn would be.

Don't get me wrong.....By all means Joe has a very good boxing resume from a pro boxing standpoint....but JOE C is not the ordinary boxer...NO SIR...Joe is on level with the Hops, Jones Jr's, Hoys, Mosleys, Berera's, Moraleses ect. Given Joe's amazing talent, skills and ability his resume doesn't match his natrual gifts and skills.

The difference between Joe and the other greats will always be the depth in their careers...the challenges they sought where Joe was complacent. Joe doesn't have to be dissapointed in his career b/c it's a very good one....but he's a GREAT fighter...one deserving of an equally GREAT RESUME!

I pretty much agree with everything you wrote, except maybe the "amazing talent" which is a little too fan-boyish for me, but yeah, good post, :good

Because everyone knows American hygiene oral and body, is far worse, hence the term fast foods, so you don't have to cook, expend energy, or eat healthy... thus decaying your teeth at an even faster rate.

    So it holds no baring.

A real Brit would understand that we abolished the slave trade... slavery is going on in all our old colonies, there is far more rapings, muders and genocide in these countries now they have no law, they now have child labour, arranged marriages (inc legal marriage with minors) and are in chaos... The other point is we gave the world the industrial age, things of beauty from Byron,Austen, Shelly,Wordsworth, Shakespeare to Vaughn Williams, Thomas Tallis, etc etc of course its easy to focus on the dirty things we had to do, but its not like we didn't improve the world.

Funny you should mention history when you are either Gordon Brown, Ken Livingston, or George Galloway... or as my first suspicion, you really are a tubby envious yank.

Wow, thanks for the guide to the geo-politcal pecking order. Now shouldn't you run along home for tea and biscuits with Mummy and Daddy and Tarquin?

But you feel the need to ridicule someone who takes great pride in their nation? not agreeing is one thing, but the pent up anger towards a patriot, disturbing.

the thing is no sensible fan cares about records.....

he could 34-8 for all i care, as long as he had a Cotto like resume

records don't make you an ATG fighter, fighting great fighters makes you an ATG...

if you got 46 fights and you only fought 3-4 champion level fighters, dont you see something wrong about that?

as a calzaghe fan i dont like it when people flaunt that record, because to me that record is his biggest flaw....

I never said there wasn't any British talent, I asked who these talented fighters were. By all means, list some top British talent.
