I repeat, America is different than pretty much every other country considering our origin and history. Hopkins is far from past his prime, when Joe beat him, he was p4p 4, people only said he was past it because Joe won, we saw against Pavlik, he is not past it.

We also saw Jones chase limited fighters for big money and Hopkins pull out and double his demands after agreeing a fight.

Because as someone said ''Calzaghe is unknown in America'' the TV networks out there wouldn't make teh fights, and Americans dont leave their comfort zone i.e America so what was he to do?

The other poster... Benn could be compared to anyone, even Jones, he took big fights, never ducked anyone, was robbed in the Eubank 2 encounter, and beat the McClennan who beat Roy Jones Jnr as an amateur. No shame in comparing someone to Benn.
