American Boxing Commissions issues a statement regarding WBA (getting payed for Rankings)

    WBA awfully close with PBC and Hearn

    Just like how close Arum and Warren are with WBO.

    WBC massive favouritism towards Hispanic/Latin fighters and iBF being pro American.

    All in all, of the 4 sanctioning bodies the WBA are the most deranged so one less body the better.

    Then again the WBA are moving their headquarters to Houston Texas (moving from Panama) so we'll see if the ABC will truly not welcome the WBA lol

    As bad as the WBC has been they haven’t been close to the incompetence displayed by the WBA. They created a huge mess and has done more damage than any other organization to the climate of boxing.

    Its impossible trying to explain to casuals that Gervonta Davis isn’t a 4 weight champion and has won only one legit champion. I’ve even had somebody tell me Tank dropped his belts at 130 to take the champions belt at 140 when he fought Barrios.

    I believe they have been given many opportunities to clean up their mess and should no longer be recognized as a major sanctioning body.
