don't waste your time, american hype job v american hype job is all they are interested in with american promoters, american referee's, and american judges, in american venes, for american tv companies - yet they call it 'the world title' just like they call the baseball final 'the world series' :rofl

with the decline of american boxing, there will come a day (not so far away) where american fighters will have to step out of the comfort zone and go abroad to prove themselves against the best fighters in europe, and mexico etc.

most americans (not all) can't see past there own nose so don't expect them to see where your coming from.

Another dumbass Euro. Is soccer season over or something?

Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Panamanians, Nicuruaguans, Americans, ect ect have been fighting eachother for decades. Its nobodies fault that Europe has such a poor boxing tradition, and that time and time again your fighters get proven to be overrated hacks who've cherry picked their oppositions their entire lives.

Americans dont dominate at the lower weights either. Mostly from Asia or Latin America below 135 pounds.

Same amount of old shot fighters...and yet Dawson isn't getting the CRAZY amount of credit Calzaghe does...they both even carry an undefeated record...you wanna talk about overrated...need look no further than Calzaghe...the ****in guy goes 40-0 and BARELY decides to fight Lacy (Lacy went to whales btw to "prove his worth" so your point about staying in america is bull****.) something in this picture smells like a bloated record of Euro bums...

    Wow you're stupid...slap yourself :hi:

I think that Hatton is a far shrewder promoter than some realize.

If this fight bumps his US marketability by as little as 5 to 10 points that's a lot of PPV dollars for his next fight. I also think Hatton's style is right for the US market. He's a genuinely likeable sort.

He has the European market in his pocket. The untapped is the rest of the world.

He already qualified his post by stating that he included Latin Americans as American fighters because they primarily fight in the U.S.

    Practice reading comprehension.:patsch

Panamanians? Nicaraguans? Puerto Ricans? your naming countries with smaller populations than London!

Fact of the matter is American over hype their fighters, they have to have home advantage, home refs and home judges every fight!

Lets take Dawson, Americans are calling for Joe to fight him, my response is why the **** should he? He hasnt been exposed enough to the European market, hes a nobody over here..... see where im going with this?, using the same old US excuses.

Fact is if Eastern Euros had been fighting and the rest of the Europeans had had a level playing field then boxing history would look allot different (not to mention the fact the mafia back in the 40's and 50's wouldnt allow a European to take a belt as they couldnt make money off a fighter half way across the world). The Americans have everything stacked in their favour from start to finish yet still come out losers more than 50% of the time.

Okay, first off the home ref **** goes both ways. I watched Collazo beat Ricky Hatton in England in which the Homer ref saved Hatton's ass TWICE from being dropped.

Second, Calzaghe and Dawson have a common opponent in Roy Jones. Dawson fought a younger RJJ and knocked him cold. Calzaghe won a unanimous one sided decision over Jones. Now I'm not saying that Dawson beats Calzaghe; I'm just pointing to the fact that you claim he hasn't fought anyone to make a name for himself, yet he KTFO one of the fighters that Joe claims as a top 3 career win.

I think it would be an interesting fight, but I'm not sure Dawson would be ready for the workrate Joe brings.

Yes it goes both ways, but since most Americans wont leave the USA, they get home advantage more! Not many title fights get fought outside the USA, hence US fighters get all the advantages. We could talk Sturm and Lewis and many others who have won comfortably only to be ****ed by US judges.

Im not saying he hasnt fought anyone Im saying he hasnt fought anyone in Europe, therefor has no been exposed to the Euro audience therefore dosent deserve the fight, this is the excuse americans use all the damn time!

Dawson V Jones? :think Missed this one.

My bad, Dawson dominated Tarver who dropped Jones in their second fight.
