fair enough, it just seems as though what you have to say is not backed up by anything...as in you are blindly running your mouth. But hey, do your thing.

The truth is, people wouldn't be talking about him if he didn't double-talk. Fighters who talk trash open themselves up to ridicule. If you say something, make sure it's true or if you talk trash, back it up. It's simple.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

You can't really be serious here.

And if you think he wins by work rate alone then I can work like a mad ****er. Maybe I should step in the ring and make 21 title defences on my work rate alone.

Not truly overhyped, no, because he lived up to a lot of it. How much further could he have gone? He beat the P4P number three at the time, the highest ranked fighter alive from 135lbs to 147lbs. He himself was ranked 6th or 7th in the world. You can never be truly overhyped when you're one of the 10 best fighters in the world and the best in the division.

Truly overhyped is Khan, Lacy, Grant and so on. These guys did not deserve to be though of so highly. Hatton did.

Hatton may have been overrated by some, but he has always had his share of haters too.

I think some of the American ESB's and one or two Brit's have some kind of obsession with Joe, and I'm not entirely sure that obsession is strictly hetro-sexual either. :tong

If you chose the right 21 fighters than I don't see how it would be an issue.

I merley make observations based on what I have seen in the ring, nothing more. That said I have yet to see anything spectacular from him in the ring.

its a figure of speech and i applaud joe for not being beaten i really do because without the 0 next to his name he'd be nothing because the 0 defines him as a fighter

Most y'all have never left the States to be fair though and don't even have passports. That applies to all these historic champions and pound for pound greats over the years too... none have dared leave the US of A.

Most of the best boxers now aren't from the states. The only reason people come state side is for the history and the Casino $. The Olympics was testament to this and why a certain Youngstown avg slugger gets treated like the 2nd coming of Christ.

Olympic scoring is a travesty, so you can't base your opinion on that.
