    I'm American and I like Joe...i think he's a great talent....but I'm also real! He dosent have a resume that fits the talent and skill level he has. His style of fighting is fine...he's active and works every min of every round for the most part. Most of his fights are pretty exciting, but he does slap at times. Regardless of that, Joe only slaps when he's doing some "shoe shine" work ala Manfredo stoppage. I can't speak for the rest of the Americans but Joe is a very good boxer with a decent legacy. Could it be better? ABSOLUTELY! It should have been but as I stated before....Joe didn't push himself to truly test his championship mettle or truly test his ability on the ELITE level.

    i think a more appropriate title for this thread would be british fans can't stop talking about american fans talking about calzaghe when american fans don't give a **** about calzaghe in the first place
